Sex And The City

In a previous post, I mentioned how Ace Serene and I were addicted to Sex And The City before we started watching True Blood.  I HAVE to revisit this subject because I don't want to commit a sin by mentioning Sex And The City without talking about how WONDERFUL it is!  Supa Darling doesn't really get into "girlie" shows or movies very much but let me tell you, that completely STRAIGHT husband of mine really loved watching it.  He wanted to know what Mr. Big's first name was and who Samantha was fucking at the moment as much as the rest of us.  Just one more reason why I love him! 


Example:  On this particular day, it was a fireman.  Nothing unusual there...

 Needless to say, we loved Sex And The City about as much as a mother loves her newborn baby.  There was plenty of laughs, tears, and "OH MY GOD REALLYs" to last the whole series.  We loved the fashion, the fights and the one liners.  Ace, this one is for you babe!

By the way, one of our other coven members (I know I've said this before but it's true damnit) friends in our group, we'll call her Lolly Gal, just went to New York with her Mom this week on vacation...and I would hope that if I ever get to visit New York...I see this:



We said how much we loved this dress.  It's just absolutely beautiful...I wonder what she's got stored under it?  One smallish dog and the cast of Twilight?  OH YAY!  She wishes!




This promotional picture that  I came across pisses me off!!  They never dressed the same! 
They sure as hell never wore black (all at the same time). 
Whoever came up with this ad needs to be shot! 
Did they even watch the damn show?



I so loved this dress....she reminds me of a very very classy ice cream cone. 



 





While Googling...I found this outfit...I can't place it.  I mean, I can't remember when this outfit ever made an appearance but I love it!  Reminds me of watermelon.  LOL

And then of course you have to hope that if you visit New York you'll see the assortment of HOT dudes that appeared throughout the series....Lolly Gal.....did you see any of these smexy dudes????



I know...I know...Gilles shouldn't count because he was in the movie...but he DOES because we watched those too!  :D 



No one thought that Aleksandr Petrovsky was hot...except Carrie and ME! 
It was something about his accent and his attitude on the show...Until he slapped Carrie towards the end...and then I promptly wrote him off.  Who slaps Carrie and gets away with it?!  BAD ALEX!  One of Carrie's best moments of the whole series in my opinion was when she called him her "Lover" but she said "Lava".  "I'm taking a LAVA!"  Oh, geez, that was so sweet!

Yep, Samantha was banging Jason Lewis on the series....We were very happy about that!  :)

We loved Aiden until our hearts were going to burst...Ace, I think your heart actually did burst (ALL OVER MY COUCH!)  LOL.  It just wasn't meant to be between Carrie and Aiden...we were so sad to see him go!



Burger...you are beautiful but you were weird on the show!!  Carrie really liked you and you were acting like an ASS HAT!  LOL





Did Lolly see Carrie and Stanford?  One of my favorite homosexuals!  Oh how we loved Stanford and all his hot and sexy gay boyfriends!!!





What the hell?  I google "Sex And The city" and Steven Tyler shows up?! 
Steven, you cannot be everything for everyone all of the time!   



STEVE!  We Love you!  (Note, this is the correct Steve...Steven Tyler..you can't be Steve Brady!!)



Last but certainly not least, we loved you Mr. Big and we hated you...just depended on how Carrie was feeling at the time.  You made us groan, I'll give you that.  In more ways than one ;)

We love you girls!  Samantha, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte, you kept us busy for many months watching your lovely shenanigans...you will not be forgotten. xxoo
