What A Weekend

I'm going to go ahead and get this bloggy stuff finished early today.  It's Monday (FML) and I'm not sure how busy we're going to be here at work so I thought I better get on the ball.  I also have coupons to clip, sort and organize.  YAY!

Friday night I just stayed home and hung out with Supa.  I don't see him very often so that was nice.  Of course he had to go to bed pretty early and I passed out on the couch watching Dr. Phil.  Pretty typical of us on a Friday night with no plans.

You and your bald head rock my world, Dr. P!  I really enjoyed spending my Friday night in your company!!
Nearly Perfect got Dazzle a gift certificate to get her nails done for her birthday so Satuday morning Nearly came to get us and we took Dazzle (and Neon because of course Supa was a Pub-Dizzle) to the nail salon to get her nails did done.  Nearly got her toes done.  <Tickle, tickle, LOL> I got my nails done and Dazzle sat right next to me and got her nails done.  That was a fun time!!  We got to talk and hang out like girls do.  What an absolute blast.  An expensive blast, no doubt, but totally worth it!  Neon is reading Twilight now (I decided he could handle it and he doesn't read that much so when I heard he WANTED to read something, I told him to go for it!) so he sat in the waiting room right behind us and read the entire time.  I don't think I ever saw him look up!  LOL, good boy!

She picked out the red all by herself.  I paid extra for her to get gel nail polish because it lasts a whole lot longer than regular polish.  PS, those are her real nails.  She doesn't chew on her nails like her Mama does.  :)  Smart girl.

Of course I had to get fake nails because I don't have my own.  I have a thing for black nails lately.  :)

When we were finished at the nail salon, we ran into Walmart for a few things and then we headed home.  Nearly and I hung out and then when Nearly left, Lolly showed up and it was time to have some lunch.  YUM.  Neon decided that no, he still doesn't like BBQ and he wanted a Big Mac.  So, we took him to McDonalds and got him a #1 and then continued on our way to Palmetto Pig.  Holy shit, it was so good!  Dazzle eats all that crazy BBQ food so she was in heaven.  I was pretty surprised to see that Neon ate every single last bite of his combo.  I didn't think he could eat an entire Big Mac.  I should have taken a picture of our plates but I am such a slacker!  I didn't even bring my camera!  Damnit.  Well, maybe next time.

Just to give you yankee's an idea, this is usually what a southern BBQ place looks like.  LOL, you like the little pig figurines sitting around everywhere?  That always cracks me up.
After stuffing ourselves stupid eating lunch, we went back to the house, hung out talking for awhile and trying to get our tummies to calm down.  LOL, fat chance.  After Lolly left, I let the kids play video games while I slipped into a food coma.  I don't even remember falling asleep.  Dazzle woke me up and said, "We're not hungry but it's dinner time".  I didn't feel like cooking, nor was I hungry either but I knew that Supa would be hungry and he was coming home from work soon so I got off my lazy (still stuffed) ass and made some dinner.

Shortly after dinner, Jade showed up with Cat Mama.  Cat was spending the night with Dazzle and Neon (sleepover fun time!) and Jade was coming over to just hang out and chill.  We sat around talking with Supa while the kids made duct tape everything.  They had duct tape all over my kitchen table.  I never knew that tape would keep them entertained for hours.  Cheap toy right?

After Jade left, I got the kids settled on their pallet in their PJ's watching a movie (Twilight, I mean, what else is there??)  They asked me if they could watch a Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse marathon all night long and I said SURE!  (Knowing full well that they probably would fall asleep before New Moon even got put in the DVD player AND I was correct.  After Twilight, they were ready to pass out)  It was right around midnight...So, I went to bed at that point, Supa had long been asleep - tired baby....

Sunday morning, Jade came and picked up Cat so they could go to their monthly family breakfast.  After the kids and I ate our breakfast, we ran to Bilo for garlic bread and cash.  We ran to the flea market to check and see if the movie guy was there.  He was so I bought Real Steel for the kids and Supa.  He took them to the theater to see that on Neon's birthday while Jade and I were decorating the house so he would be surprised.  They loved it and I knew they would watch it together so...that's all we ended up buying.  Back home again....

For the rest of the day we cleaned out Neon's room (holy shit that took about 3 hours), I washed, dried and folded 4 loads of laundry (while the kids played outside, it was gorgeous!!), Nearly came over to hang out and I baked 3 batches of mini muffins to have for lunches for the week, cooked dinner, ran to the dumpster with Jade and Nearly, and finally hung out with my husband who got off of work 2 hours later than he was supposed to.  Inventory is this week so he's been coming home late every single day.  I'm complaining now but I won't be when he brings home his bonus check, LOL.  Oh, such is life.

I'm tired today.  I did get a BUNCH of stuff accomplished yesterday and I never took a nap so that might be why.  I was so give out after I finished making dinner that I was ready to pass out at that point so maybe that's why I feel so sleepy today....I hope I can make it all day without snoring at my desk, LOL.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and makes it though Monday with me...

Laters,

Apple
