Must Have Been A Movie Weekend

Well, I did figure out how to get Dazzle's dance video's off of my camera but so far I haven't been successful in attaching and sending them through email.  Poop!  Also, I can't post the videos that I took because you can hear me screaming my daughter's real name several times during the dance.  (I could not hold it in!!  I was so excited and proud of her!)  Dazzle did tell me that her dance teacher would be posting the videos on youtube so hopefully I can post them from there really soon.  Be on the lookout for that in a future post.

Dazzle would be the one in the middle.  She really stood out.  (She wishes I would let her dye her hair pink!)

Saturday morning I went with Lolly to get our nails done together.  That was fun!

The kids said I should get purple so that's what I went with! Something different....

Lolly got pink with clear, golden glitter on top.  PRETTY!!
We went back to the house and hung out for a few minutes and then it was time to part ways so we could get our Saturday's rolling!  Lolly and Camo Man had plans to go to Savannah for the weekend and I had errands to run.

Savannah is very beautiful.  I know they had a great time together!
Supa was working all day so the kids and I started our day out at AT&T.  Neon has been having cell phone issues but we got that straightened out (hopefully) without replacing his phone.  Then we had our weekly Subway lunch together and were off to swimming lessons.  While Neon was learning to be a little fish, Dazzle and I hung out and looked at her yearbook that she just got.  I could not believe that a middle school yearbook cost $55!!  It turned out to be totally worth it.  They put together a really nice looking, hardback book filled with colorful pictures.  We really enjoyed it and I'm glad she'll have one to look back at later.

Neon got shoved in the pool by the instructor since he STILL hasn't jumped in on his own.  I was watching at the door and she came over afterward to make sure that I wasn't upset with her.  I told her she should have pushed his ass in weeks ago!  Next week is his last lesson.  The parents get to go by the pool and watch (that's been prohibited up until this last lesson) so we'll see how he does next week.

I think Neon needs this shirt since he LOVES swimming so much!!!  NOT!

We ran to Walmart and Walgreen's and then it was time to go home and rest for a little bit.

I cooked dinner for the kids and then it was time to go walking/running with Jade.  We've been all over our neighborhood and we're not bored yet so that's a good thing.  We were out for about an hour.  When we got home, we hung out with Supa for a little while and then we sent Supa to Jade's house to hang out with her husband while we laid our tired asses on the couch together and watched The Vow.

This is a movie that was made from a book.  I read the book and loved it so I bought the movie.
Jade hadn't read the book so she really liked the movie.  I, on the other hand, didn't really love the movie for the most part.  It was NOTHING like the book.  They even got the real life people's names wrong.  I don't know why but it royally pisses me off when they take a book and fuck it in the ass!  I want what I already know to be the story!  That's why I wanted to see the damn movie in the first place. Inspired by true events my ass!

The only reason why the movie was any good was because I love Channing Tatum and he was wonderful in it.  ESPECIALLY when he walked across a room butt naked!  WOOT!  Best.Part.By.Far!

He looked good in the rain.

He looked good with dry clothes on.

He even looked good laying in bed with another woman.
We enjoyed each other's company and we enjoyed Channing Tatum.  That's about it!

After Jade went home and Supa came back home, we ended up staying up until about 3 AM watching TV together.  I guess we got our second wind.

Sunday, we were up at 8:30 (Tired! Damn TV!).  We had breakfast with the kids and relaxed for a bit.  Then I downloaded some new music and uploaded a few pictures.  Supa and I ran to the dumpster to look for coupons, to Food Lion, and to Bilo.

Dazzle and I had some lunch and then it was time to go see a movie!  We decided that Supa and Neon needed some father/son time together so we would make ourselves disappear for a few hours.  Dazzle and I decided to go see the new Johnny Depp movie, Dark Shadows, and we invited Jade and Cat Mama to go with us.  FUN!!  The movie was great!!

Another hot vampire in my life?!  Don't be jealous Edward!  I was in love with you first ;)

This is a Tim Burton film so you know it was twisted, weird and definitely dark.

We really enjoyed it and will be buying it on DVD when it comes out for the men to see!
We came home to the smells of Supa's homemade beef stew cooking.  YUM!  While we were gone, Supa and Neon watched The Darkest Hour.  We originally saw the previews for this one when we went to see Breaking Dawn Part 1.  Neon was immediately interested and so I bought it for the men to watch.  They said they really liked it.

Lolly saw it a couple of weeks ago and she said she thought Neon could handle it.

Looks like there may have been some pretty good special effects involved.
Jade and I left the kids to play and went for our Sunday afternoon walk.  The sun was beaming on us and we were dripping sweat!  Just what the doctor ordered!  LOL.  We had a great time.

Jade and Cat Mama went home to do their thing, we ate dinner and then it was FINALLY time to relax on my couch!  We watched back to back episodes of Survivor (we're a few weeks behind) and then we got in the bed.  We were wore out!

Overall, a wonderful weekend.  Is it Friday yet???
