This past weekend was pretty normal, yet awesome.
Friday after work, Jade and I did our first P90X disk. (Core) Wow, that was hard. We were dripping sweat on my living room floor. That means it's working!! It was also fun because I got to do it with Jade. (meaning, I wasn't in pain and misery all alone)
I was too tired to do much of anything after Jade left so I just hung out with Supa and watched TV. Supa decided to entertain me with "Yo Mama" jokes while we watched TV and I must admit, some of them were very witty and funny as hell.
"Yo Mama is so stupid, she thinks Taco Bell is a Mexican phone company."
Saturday, Supa had to work all day. I left the kids at home and went to get my nails done.

It was time for something simple, pretty and normal. The french manicure. |
Afterwards, I went home, picked up the kids and headed to Subway to have our weekly lunch together. Then it was time to walk on over to Neon's swimming lessons. He did very well and had fun. He still didn't jump in the pool. BUT he did get pulled in :) Serves him right! I keep telling him to just TRUST them and jump in! Hopefully, he will be brave enough to jump right in next week! GO NEON!!!! You can do it!!!
We ran to Walmart and Walgreen's on our way home and then it was time to head to the house.
When I got home, I had presents in the mailbox:

Thank you for my coupon gifts, Uncle Darling!! WOOT!!! |
"Yo Mama is so old, she knew Burger King when he was still a prince."
It was between 90-95 degrees outside Saturday and I was already wore out from my P90X but I really wanted to get a few things done. Lo' and behold, only 2 of those few things actually got completed.
We dug up a tree from the front yard and relocated it to the back yard. I didn't realize how hard it would be to dig up a tree that was only slightly taller than my 5ft. 10in. It was very hard. I couldn't get all of the roots out of the ground (without tearing up my entire front yard) so I just got as much of the roots as I could and planted that sucker in the backyard as best as we could. I should have taken a fucking picture. I think we did a pretty good job. The sweat was dripping off of my chin like a faucet and my shoulders were on fire from digging. Where is my husband when I need him??!! OH, that's right, at work, making money.
There was a very unsightly limb hanging down right in front of our front porch that has been driving me crazy. We kept pulling on it but it never wanted to come down. I went and got some rope out of the shed and was prepared to lasso the damn thing until I did come down. I guess Saturday was the limbs last life because I didn't even need the rope. The damn thing finally came right down after I gave it a few hefty tugs. That was the easy part. Hacking it up so that we could dispose of it was more sweaty work. I had to get Supa's hand saw and hack away like a crazy person. I wished for an ax at that moment but we don't have one! (Time to go to Lowe's and get one I guess)
I didn't have the energy to do any further yard work. I was spent. I was just glad to have accomplished that much.
"Yo Mama is so poor, your family had to eat cereal with a fork just to save milk."
After crawling to the shower and letting the wall hold me up for a few minutes, the kids helped me cook dinner and before I knew it, Supa was home and ready to eat. We had a nice dinner together (ground chicken wraps... YUM!!) and then Jade came over to hang out for a while.
We stuck around the house and kept Supa company for a little bit and then it was OFF to Jade's parent's houses (about 5 minutes down the road) to get into their hot tub! Oh, boy did our achy muscles need it! I was so relaxed and so relieved to not be so sore that I almost fell asleep sitting up in it!! (Jade you were not boring me! It was the hot water that got to me :)
We had a blast! That won't be the last time we end up at Jade's Mom and Dad's house!! LOL
Jade took me home and dropped me off when we were finished soaking. Supa and the kids were watching Thundercats so I decided to go take all my clothes off and lay butt naked on top of my bed, under the ceiling fan, to cool off. My intentions were to get rid of the headache I had, cool off and rest for a minute. Then I was going to get up, put some clothes on and join Supa on the couch for some TV time. That just didn't happen. I fell asleep and didn't wake up until 5:45 AM when my bladder told me to get up. Supa was passed out on the couch and I wasn't about to wake him up. I got back in the bed and fell right back to sleep. That P90X paired with yard work ain't no joke!! I was totally exhausted!
"Yo Mama is so fat, when someone tells her to haul ass it takes two trips."
Sunday, Supa was off! YAY! So we got up, ate breakfast and went to run errands. We ran to Big Lots to look for a deck chair. No dice. We ran to Walmart, found a deck chair we liked, purchased it and headed to the flea market. (The movie guy was once again M.I.A. Now I'm starting to think that bad things happened to him!)
We found nothing that we wanted to buy at the flea market. Even the fruits and veggies didn't look that great since it was nice and steamy outside already.
Supa and I went home to have lunch with the kids (left over wraps) and wait for Aldi's to open so that we could go get some fruits and veggies for the week.

Have you been to Aldi's?? It is a great place for really cheap groceries!!! |
We ran to Aldi's and got enough fruits and veggies for a four person family (for the entire week) for $10.42. What a steal!! :)
"Yo Mama is so fat, she left the house wearing high heels and came back wearing flip flops."
After we were finished shopping, it was time to go home and do some P90X with Jade. Yesterday was the "shoulders and arms" disk. My arms feel like Jello today but we did it!! It was another very challenging workout!
I took a few minutes to wash the stink off of me to get ready to go to the mall with Supa and the kids. I needed a new hoodie (I ended up getting one from American Eagle) and Dazzle had a few things that she wanted to get. We walked around for a little while (legs burning like a mother) and then we took the kids to dinner.
By the time we got home, I was ready to FLOP on the couch once again. We got lunches and clothes ready for Monday morning and THEN I flopped directly on the couch. :)
Neon drew a picture for my desk at work:

Yep, it's zombie Spongebob. I love him even if he is undead and bleeding! |
