Great Weekend!

I have few minutes at work today to blog so hopefully I can get everything that I want to say out quickly...Again, we're busy as shit.

I meant to post this picture from when we went shopping at the beach.  Remember the fat giraffe?  Well, I took a picture of FAT DORA and forgot to post it!  Check this shit out:

Note the water bottle beside her fat ass so that you can see how big she really is!
This bitch needs to stop eating burritos!  What little Mexican girl is going to want to play with this ugly thing?!  HOLY GEEZ!  LMFAO!

I also forgot to post the masterpiece that Neon built at our brunch table:
I think he was SUPER bored at brunch.  LOL!

Maybe he's going to be an architect!

We had a great weekend!  If you're happy and you know it about this past weekend, leave me a note in the comments section!  I love hearing about other peoples good times too!

Red and Buzz Lightyear just went to the beach for Red's birthday.  When they came back, she had presents for me!  WOOT!  I love surprises!
Pretty!  There is a single butterfly on the inside of the bowl that matches the one on the outside.

Red was just at my house eating dinner not too long ago when we were talking about how none (almost none) of our bowls match each other.  LOL.  I like it that way.  The same pattern over and over would get boring!  SO, after we talked about my cool bowl fetish, she gave me this one.  She knows me so well because I would have picked this one out myself!  :)

I'm not sure if I've talked before about how Red always says that things are "Cray" but she does.  For instance, "Did you see that woman run that red light?  That bitch is cray!".  Or, "Did you see that man flip me off just now?  Oh, girl, you know he cray-cray!".  It's kind of like the better, more improved version of calling someone crazy.  WELL, I LOVE it when Red says it and I told her so.  Now, I've even caught myself saying it even when Red is not around because I love it so much!

So, it was no shocker when she presented me with this awesome t-shirt straight from the beach:

Bahahahahahaha!  She said it was kinda for a gag.  SHIT, I love it!
Buzz was with her when she got it and he said, "Um, are you really buying her that?!"  Red was like, "YES!".  Haha!!  She knew that I would love it.  Good lookin' out Red!

Thanks again for thinking about me!  I LOVE surprise presents!

At some point last week I found the time to paint my nails:

I call these, confetti, glitter nails!  Pretty!
As you can see, I'm having way too much fun painting my nails lately.  (At least it's free for me to change the color every other day, LOL)

Supa had to work all day Saturday so the kids and I found some things to do to keep busy.

I packed his lunch box for him so that he would have a nice lunch to eat at work and I included this:
I was super excited about our Saturday night plans!!  As you can tell, we don't get out much.  LMAO!
We ran to the liquor store to get a bottle of vodka (part of the Saturday night plans!) since the one that Jade and I split was GONE and I drank about 3/4 of it by myself.  (over time, people, not all at once!)  I keep vodka in the freezer for those times when vodka is needed.  You never know when that might be!  The kids wanted to go inside the store with me since they had never been in a liquor store.  Oh, joy.  They left the store feeling totally unimpressed.  Neon said, "There were just a bunch of bottles, Mama."  Yep, pretty much, silly fella!
I want what I want!  :)

Then we went by Pet's Inc. to get Mr. Copper more cow hooves.  He chews on those and not my shoes so I'm good.  When he runs out, it gives us an excuse to go play with the animals and buy more.  Perfect!
If I bought a puppy home every time we played with one, well, my carpet would be ruined.

What a sweet face!!!
Of course, we had to hold the kittens too.

When we got done kissing and hugging every animal in the building buying our cow hooves, we ran to Sally Beauty Supply for, well, beauty things.  :)  Dazzle picked out our newest nail polish color.  Bright purple.  You'll be seeing that one on my nails hopefully this week.  After I picked Neon off the floor from fainting out of sheer boredom, I drove us on over to Walmart.  I had a list of things to get and I was getting hungry.  (I try to follow the "don't grocery shop while you're hungry rule" and this trip was pushing it)

We got what we needed, ran to Subway to pick up our lunch and back home we went.  After we ate I, you guessed it, cut the grass.  I decided it was going to be a high calorie content kind of night with all the drinking I was planning on doing so I better cut the front and back yard for double exercise.  It was hot as usual and when I was finished, I was exhausted but still felt very accomplished.  I took a shower and passed out in my bed for about an hour.

Supa came home from work and woke me up.  I decided that I was going to try a new recipe for dinner.  It was called "Greek Skillet" and it sounded yummy.  It turned out pretty good BUT Supa didn't really care for it since it had cinnamon in it and he's not too much into cinnamon.  I would have left that out if I had remembered....SO, I will not forget for next time because the rest of the Darling family liked it.  Win!

After dinner we got ready to go (I wish I could post a picture of myself - I looked pretty awesome if I do say so!), packed up our bottles and drove on over to Super Bass and Patient Woman's house!  WOO HOO!  (We had dinner with them last Thursday at Fuddrucker's and made some plans to hang out this weekend.)  We told the kids this would be an adult night and they could come with us next time.  (Anyone that knows me understands how I roll.  I have to check out the environment first and make sure that it's up to the proper level of cleanliness before I subject my children to it.  PS, Super and Patient passed inspection with flying colors!)  AND we had adult plans!  All Mom's and Dad's need some adult time every now and then.  Cat Mama was supposed to spend the night with Dazzle and Neon but she got sick and had to stay home.  BOO!  My kids decided to eat popcorn and  watch the new Disney movie, John Carter.  (They said it wasn't good, it was AMAZING)  Woo hoo!!

Check this out....
Anyhow, back to what Supa and I were doing....I should have taken pictures of their house.  It was so nice!  I like how it had so much character.  I loved it and felt right at home immediately!

I did take pictures of the dogs and fish they have....What a sweet bunch of pups!

Asia!
Asia is part chow and Patient just had him shaved the other day so his hair wouldn't be so poofy and hot.  He is the sweetest thing but took some time to warm up to us.  Once his shyness wore off and he let me pet him, he was the softest, most kind dog ever!  His poofy hair around his face made him look like a bear!  Dazzle is going to go nuts when she meets this one!
Duke!
Duke is a mess!  He has the most handsome (and most drooliest) face I've ever seen!  He weighs as much as Neon does and loves to let you know who is boss!  LMAO!  He is something else.  I wanted to hug and kiss him all night but he gets too excited!!  He kept trying to get excited all over Supa's leg which I thought was hilarious.  The kids are going to have to be firm with this one.

Turbo and Zoe!
We had to be very creative getting this picture!  Super has them trained to get little treats and they were "waiting" at this moment.  I have never seen a miniature pinscher in person and they are so cute!  They are also full of energy and Super says that they get into stuff like kids do.  WOW!!  I had no idea.  Those were the most innocent looking little troublemakers I've ever seen.
Zoe!

Zoe is the only girl out of the whole bunch.  She is best friends with Turbo and such a sweet girl!  She even let me hold her while I was standing up in the kitchen.  I think this is going to be Neon's buddy.  She seemed the most easy going out of everyone.

The girls said that they have 2 cats (and one only has 3 legs!) but they were outside in their cat oasis because sometimes, they don't get along with Zoe and Turbo.  It was raining and we didn't want to get wet so we will get to meet them next time.  (More pictures to follow)

Super and Patient have 3 fish tanks. (whew!  that's a lot of work!)  The fish were beautiful!

This one is big!

This little one underneath the big one is missing one eye!

Super said that Patient has had some of these fish for many years.  COOL!

See the one-eyed fish??  One day it had an eye and when they came home from work the poor thing's eye was gone.  He's still going strong!

After we got our grand tour of the house and met all the animals it was time to make drinks, hang out and play some cards!  Supa never plays card with the girls but we needed a fourth and he was all about hanging out and socializing this night.  The girls were talking football with him and he was eager to get to know his new friends!
The scene looked a little like this.  Patient's wine glass and Supa's Dr. Pepper (he was going to drive his drunk wife home) made it into the photo.

Supa had never played spades before (or maybe once but a really long time ago) so we explained the game to him and had a practice round.  We were keeping score (for fun - no one really was taking the card playing seriously at all) and when I made a stupid mistake, Super said, "Now, Supa, see, Apple just did a very bad thing!"  I love my mistakes being pointed out as a learning tool.  :)

That would be from left to right, Supa, Patient, myself and Super.
If you know the game of spades, Supa already won this hand with his queen but I still threw out a spade.  DUH, APPLE!  LMAO!  That moment got named "The Very Bad Thing" immediately.

We had an absolute fucking blast!  We stayed until around 1:00 AMish and I found myself not wanting to leave (which is totally not like me because I usually love to be in my house).

Thank you so much, girls for your wonderful hospitality!  The crushed ice, chocolate cupcakes, midnight sandwich, hugs, and laughs were greatly received and appreciated!  I hope that we can hang out many more times and create more wonderful memories together.

(You guys better feel special because I very rarely like people this much and I fo sho don't talk about it :)

The kids were on the couch, almost passed out with the X-Box controllers in their hands.  I think that was the latest that my little people have ever been awake (aside from nighttime travel).  They wanted to wait up for us and they did a really good job keeping down the fort while we were gone.

Sunday morning, Supa let me sleep in late.  (9:45 was the latest I've slept in about 12 years I think...)  I woke up to the smells of eggs and bacon.  What a sweet husband!  He let me sleep in and cooked us brunch!  It was probably because of him that I didn't have a hangover.  Not that I was drunk or anything much.

After brunch, we all did some house chores together and cleaned up a bit.  We took the kids rollerskating from 2-5 and Supa and I skated too!  (Where I wore my "that shit cray" shirt.  Red said she wasn't sure where I was going to be able to wear it, HAHA, to the skating rink of course!!)  That was the first time I roller skated in about 18 years!!  I only fell once on my butt and I did pretty good!  I wasn't going very fast but I stayed upright almost the entire time!  Supa was doing even better!  He was lapping me and he had only been skating once his whole life!  LMAO! The kids thought it was so cool that we skated with them. We had a blast, shared some snow cones and sweat like crazy!  I think I found my new Sunday afternoon exercise plan!

Supa made homemade beef stew for dinner, YUM!!  The kids have been wanting to see Titanic (of course we have it on DVD) so we watched it while the stew was stewing.  We even ate our stew in the living room at the coffee table so we could finish the 3+ hour movie.  What a good time!  I balled my eyeballs out of course and Neon said he was very sad that all those people died.  Dazzle thought that Leonardo Dicaprio was hot (duh) and she really liked it.

Overall, what a fun and wonderful weekend with the people that I love!

Later Taters!
