Monday, I Hate You!

Golly, I am tired as shit this morning.  The last thing in the world that I wanted to do when I woke up was get up, get ready and come to work.  Yet, here I sit.  I would have rather jumped out of an airplane (something I never really want to do) if that meant I could go home and climb back into bed for the rest of the day.  Unfortunately, my fairy Godmother didn't present me with that option this morning.  Fuck you, Fairy Godmother!!  Where are you when I need you?!

And the day rolls on.....

This past weekend was pretty stellar.

Friday night after work I rode my bike, cooked some dinner and popped a squat on the couch with Dazzle and Neon to see who won America's Got Talent.  Supa went over to Jade's house to spend time with her husband the douche bag.  They did boy stuff like start a fire in the yard.  I don't understand why all men are pyros but whatever.

The people that we wanted to win AGT, won.  WOO HOO!!  We cheered for them and I wished that I had bet money on the whole thing.  LOL

The Olate Dogs !!  The father said he had been training dogs and performing for 44 years.  He deserved it!
After we got all excited over that, I got my second wind!  I wasn't tired and I didn't feel like sitting on the couch anymore so the kids and I went to Bilo at 10:30 PM.  Not a big deal for me but the kids were shocked!  LMAO!  Can we say sheltered?  Neon thought it was super amazing that we were almost the only ones in the store.  We got the things we needed and headed back home.

We made plans with Super Bass and Patient Woman to hang out at their place on Saturday night to watch Gamecock football.  Supa and Jade were both going with me and the kids were staying home and having a sleepover with Cat Mama.  We were all really glad that she was feeling much better from her sinus infection that she had last weekend so she could come hang out.

SO, I was planning on making some food to take over there.  I don't watch football and have never celebrated on game day so I heard that this was the thing to do.  Kind of like tailgating in the living room I guessed.....Since I had been to a Carolina/Clemson game and tailgating when I was about 12, I knew what I was getting myself into.

When we got back from Bilo, I got busy.  I really wanted to get a head start on the food so I wouldn't have so much to do the next day.

I decided to bake Neon some pumpkin muffins.  He loves everything pumpkin and he's been bugging me that it's FALL NOW so I can start making pumpkin stuff NOW.  LOL.
Dazzle doesn't like pumpkin pie but she DID decide she liked my muffins.  :)  Yay!

Prep for the pasta salad and deviled eggs that were in the making....
Look at me being a good blogger and having my fucking camera at the ready!  Do it, Apple!
Completed pasta salad.  YUUUM!

Grama Darling's recipe deviled eggs.  This time with just the right amount of mustard (inside joke with Aunt Darling)
I baked, cooked and cleaned up my mess until about 1AM and then I was really tired!  Time to crash!

Saturday morning, I went with Dazzle to get our hair cut.  Neon stayed home with Supa (who was off the whole weekend, still recovering from his polyp hiatus - he returned to work today).  We left with our hair looking amazing and rode on over to Sally's Beauty Supply to pick out a new nail color.  We ended up with Pelican Gray (Yay!  I've been looking all over for gray!  Even the nail salon didn't have it) and black crackle polish.  You put the crackle over the polish color and it does exactly what it says, crackle.  LOL

Only a bad bitch posts her toes on her public blog.  :)
Cat Mama painted my toes for me because they always look better when someone else does it for you.  Wahoo!

I painted my fingernails.  I don't know if I like the one different nail from the others but I originally did this just to test the crackle.
I do know that I love the gray.  This isn't a great picture either...I've washed a few dishes before I took it and they did look better when they were freshly painted.  Here I go forgetting to take pictures at the right time....

Once we got home, I cut the grass.  It didn't rain much last week so it took me less time than usual.  (YAY - only 83 degrees but still felt hot as hell, damn SC)  Supa ran and got Subway for lunch (our ultimate favorite) while I washed the dirt and stank off of myself.  After lunch, I caught up on some Facebook and then got in my bed and took a good nap.  I had the feeling I was going to be up late that night and wanted to be in perfect form.

When you get a photo of this while you're still at work on Friday, you know it's going to be a fun Saturday night!  :)

Super Bass is spoiling us with the good, expensive shit!  LOL  She was letting us know that she had that beverage of choice covered.

I got up from my nap, made chicken salad sandwiches, took my shower and got ready, went and picked up Jade and Cat Mama (so that Jade wouldn't have to driver herself home that night) and got the van packed up with food and drinks to head over to Super and Patient's house.

This was Jade's first time at their house so she got the grand tour and let all the pups sniff her out.  They were excited to see Supa and I again!  We put the food out and got some snacks...

What a nice spread!

Patient and Super made little smokey sausages, pigs in a blanket, brownies, cookies and Jade made her special buffalo chicken dip.  (I don't like it but everyone else seems to)  We had plenty to eat!!

I sat on the couch beside Super quietly while everyone else watched the game.  I was at the party and I have no idea who played against Carolina!  When I tell you that I know nothing about football, I mean it!  When Patient yelled at the TV, I did too.  When they all cheered, I looked up from my iPad and said, "Is it time to take a shot now?".  I played games, stalked Facebook and caught up on my reading.  I stayed quiet, nursing my drinks and didn't bother the football fans one bit I hope.

Let's just say that the Gamecocks were doing really well and I was looking forward to getting pretty drunk.  Jade needed it with all the stress of her work situation.
I loved the rule of 1 touchdown=1 shot.  My kind of party!  (PS, there is no peer pressure at this house, you drink at your own risk!)  Supa didn't drink a drop since he's on meds and was our designated driver for the night.  He drank quite a few Dr. Peppers though!
At some point, before super drunk sunk in, we took a couple of pictures of the pups...

Apparently, Duke can sleep through everything.  Even grown women (and one Supa) yelling at the TV over the  football game.

Zoe was not sleeping at all!  She was watching for us to drop a snack on the floor.  LOL, silly girl!  It's going in our mouths!!
As usual, we had a ball.  We watched the game (well, you know, they did), Jade and I cleaned up the kitchen since I'm OCD about cleaning and couldn't even stand to look at the food mess without fixing it up a bit.  (It's more fun to clean when you're drunk anyhow)  I think someone said the Gamecocks scored 7 touchdowns (and I was thirsty in between) so you can imagine how HAPPY I was by the end of the night.  LOL.  We went outside and sat for a little bit and let the dogs out and then Supa drove our drunker than drunk asses home.  I remember laughing a bunch, trying to talk to Supa and look after Jade who had her chin on her chest and was ALMOST snoring.  LMAO!!  We dropped Jade off and went home where I promptly passed out in my bed.  Heehee!

Thanks again Super and Patience for a wonderful night and some awesome memories!!

Now, I love football!  :)  GO COCKS!

Sunday morning, I woke up with a headache.  Haha!  No hangover, just a headache.  Nothing that Excedrin Migraine couldn't handle!  Supa got up with me and drove me to the flea market to look for the movie guy.  No dice.  What a joke.  He took me to Walmart to get the movie that I was looking for.  No dice there either!  They were fresh out (of a movie that just came out this past week, losers!)  We bought it at Bilo and everyone is supposed to be coming over (not sure when yet) for a special screening at our house.
I can't wait!  I just know it's going to be epic!!

We hung out at the house for most of the day.  Cat was entertaining the kids.  There was a bunch of fingernail and toenail painting going on while Neon watched a movie with Supa.  I took all the kids to the park to "play" on the equipment while I rode my bike around the track.  (I need to get a bike rack.  I can stuff my bike in the back of the van but it's not very fun and Supa usually has the van)  I now know that 12 laps = 7.25 miles.  Holy shit.  That's how many I did yesterday and I wasn't even going as fast as I could.  And it was FUN!  The best fun I've ever had while exercising has been on my bike.  I love it!  We will definitely be doing that again!

I took the kids to have Mexican for dinner.  Supa had another one of his episodes (that's what I'm calling his rude/mean behavior that stems from his shitty childhood) so we left him at the house to be mean by himself.  **BTW, I found a different therapist for him to go see that specializes in PTSD and trauma.   We had to postpone the appointment until next week due to him being sick but it can't come soon enough.**

I hung out with the kids for the rest of the evening and caught up on the book I'm reading.

Then, it was fucking Monday all over again!!!

Peace and chicken grease,

Apple Darling
