Happy Wednesday!!

Nothing super exciting is going on lately. 

The New Year's weekend was mostly uneventful, yet totally awesome! 

Supa was off on Saturday so we did go shopping for Dazzle's birthday.  We're still not completely finished with her gifts but we did get a whole lot accomplished.  

We took the kids to Red Lobster for lunch as planned.  Neon did not throw up this time but he rejoiced in standing in the exact spot where he puked earlier in the week.  Boys!!  LOL.  (and seeing as how I am a Mother with a sense of humor, I allowed him to do a little dance on the barf stain)  

After a much needed nap Red Lobster induced coma we took all the Christmas decor down.  Now the house looks totally naked and clean :)  Just what I wanted!!  Glad that's over with for the year.  Before we know it, it will be fucking Christmas AGAIN!  I think I'm going to be really weird and start shopping now for next year. 

On Sunday, Dazzle and I cleaned out her entire room and moved around furniture so that we can get her a desk.  I still haven't found the desk or chair yet but at least her room is de-cluttered and ready to go!  If anyone knows about a desk, let me know.

Monday, we played electronic Monopoly (twice in one day because that's how fun it was) and we baked cookies (2 different kinds because some of us have to be difficult :)   We also made and ate smores (because Santa left all the ingredients for them under the tree) and drank hot chocolate.  YUM!  It was a relaxing kind of day and a high calorie kind of weekend.

Tuesday, work was pretty damn busy.  Everyone went crazy calling us since we were closed on Monday.  I guess they missed us??  I could have done without talking to all those people first thing Tuesday morning but whatev.  That's what I get paid to do.  I was disappointed that I didn't have time to be bloggy that morning and then by the time everything calmed down, I was way too tired and irritable to be creative with my words.  SO, I sat at my desk like a lazy bitch and watched the Bachelor. 

Back to today....I usually coupon on Wednesday's because that's the first day of the week that the new sales ads come out.  Jade and I haven't gotten a single coupon in the past 2 weeks because there are no coupons in the newspaper on holiday weekends.  (WHO THE FUCK CAME UP WITH THIS STUPID IDEA ANYWAY??  I mean, I need coupons ALL the time!)  That itself put a damper on the situation and the fact that there was nothing really good on sale this week.  SO, I had a lunch hour to piss away.....

I decided to head to the mall and return a wallet that Supa got me for Christmas that I didn't like.  (PS, he also got me that really kick ass zombie wallet that I wanted so he's 1-1 on wallets) While I was there, I got Dazzle a lava lamp for her room.  She snuck that little last birthday request in the other day and I did not forget.  GO MOMMY!  I think she's going to love it.  Purple liquid, yellow lava.  Sounds pretty cool to me!

Just a couple of random things before I peace out for today:

I sent Uncle Darling a Gumby key chain for Christmas.  I guess it's kind of an inside uncle/niece joke but he fucking loves Gumby and Pokey and has since I can remember.  This was my way of reminding him that I did not forget that fun fact.  (Kind of like the fact that he reminds me often of how my favorite song used to be Puff The Magic Dragon I loved everything about Puff, not just the song)  I guess in a way, we're having a sort of "cartoon off".  LOL

So, this morning, I received this in my email:

Gumby promised me he would be good at Uncle Darling's house and I in turn promised him that Uncle Darling would take good care of him!  I'm glad they are having fun together!
