Why Are Titles So Hard?!

I don't know why but I have a hell of a time thinking up titles to my posts.  I can type up all this random bullshit for your reading pleasure but the title kills me every time.  One day, I'm going to get really pissed off and frustrated and stop worrying about titles!

I feel like this...Like it is looming and I need to title each and every entry.  GRR!!

Anyhow, onto more pressing issues:

I did take Neon to our pediatrician's office on Thursday afternoon.  The culture of his pee came back normal.  Dr. Tye said that the levels of calcium in his pee were normal but on the "high end" of normal, moving on into excessive.  I asked the usual stupid question, "Is this caused by drinking too much milk?"  He laughed and said no.  (WELL, calcium right??!)  Anyhow, so he said he didn't really think it was his kidney's.  It could be that he has a bleed in his bladder but he's not sure yet.

<OH THE WORRYING!>

Dr. Tye said "Do not start freaking out on me yet.  I am going to do everything I can to figure out what is going on.  Whatever is wrong will get fixed.  Just don't flip out yet.  Trust me."  I have no problems trusting him.  He is the best pediatrician ever and he's always taken care of the kids so well.

After that conversation, he sent us straight to the lab to have more tests done.

The first thing we did at the lab was have blood drawn.  (That was fun as hell for Neon!  He had a mini panic attack but he did pretty good)  The elderly lady that drew his blood told him that she needed him to trust her (fat chance) and she had done this a million times.  Well, he did stay still and she really did know what she was doing.  You could hardly see where she stuck the needle in.  No bruise or anything!  GO nice elderly lady!  We love you!

Then they gave us a jug thing for him to pee in.  He had to pee in this jug every single time he had to pee for 24 hours AND we had to keep it in the refrigerator.  Neon thought it was hilarious that he got to go to the fridge every time he needed to pee.  LOL.  I loved having the pee jug right next to my tea pitcher.  Oh joy!

After we fought the traffic and finally got home it was after 6PM so we had to go get something for dinner.  We decided that Neon should get to decide where we ate since he is the one that got poked with a needle.  He picked Chinese food so we had Chinese buffet.  It was yummy!

Yum, yum, yummy!!!!
I did get everything accomplished on Friday that I intended to.  Haircut, visited Nearly at work because I love her, made my huge list of things we needed for the cookout and the weekly groceries, had lunch with the kids, went to Wally World, cleaned the entire house (not that it was that dirty to begin with), baked Dazzle's birthday cake and prepped food.  I did EVERYTHING and when I was done, I was exhausted!  I did get to see my husband on Friday night and that was nice!!

I kept falling asleep while I was trying to watch TV with Supa.  I was so desperately trying to keep my eyes open!

Saturday was really fun.  We cooked out, ate a ton of food, opened presents and went roller skating.  After that we went back to the house for cake.  YUM!  What a super fun day!  Dazzle said that she really enjoyed her special birthday and that's all that matters to me!

The burger fixings were taking over the kitchen counter!

OOOO, see my burger?  I couldn't wait to eat it!!!

Dazzle had some nasty bruises on her knees from falling down while skating BUT she and Neon did much better this time than last time.  They were flying around the rink!
Sunday, we all were really tired and needed to recover so we just hung out at the house mostly.  I did run to the flea market to check on my movie guy but he wasn't there.  BOO!  We waited until Supa got home from work and then we took Dazzle out to dinner for her birthday.  Mexican, yum!  This was also the day that Neon had to pee in the jug all day.  Fun fun!

Monday morning we got up and took the pee jug back to the lab.  Neon said, "Are you really taking a picture of my pee, Mama??!!"  For my blog, yes.

Sorry about the shitty picture.  My phone hates me.  I hope they weren't expecting him to completely fill it up.
He's just a little guy!!!
We were thinking about going by Goodwill because they were having a mega 1/2 price off sale on everything in the store....but I called Jade, who was already at Goodwill and she said it was a huge cluster-fuck and I just wasn't up for that.  SO, we went right back home.

The kids wanted to watch a scary movie but without all the gore so we watched The Sixth Sense.  They were scared but they liked it a lot and they talked about it the entire time we made dinner.  Then we decided to just continue on our movie-a-thon and watch Dirty Dancing.  Dazzle loved it, Neon gave it a MEH.  Just like his Daddy.

I'm getting ready to leave work now to take Neon to the hospital.  Time for more tests!  We are having an ultrasound done on both his kidneys and his bladder.  WOO HOO!  Fun stuff!!  I hope that these tests will give us some answers on what is wrong with my little fellow!

Until Tomorrow,

Apple
