Mega Mix Up

Today is going to be a cluster fuck of a post because that's how I feel right now.  I'm trying to work, get a bunch of stuff ready for our vacation and look at coupons/blog.  I can multi-task with the best of 'em but I'm just a little flustered today.  I have that "what am I forgetting" feeling which I despise. 

I had a pow-wow with Nearly last night so that she would be completely prepared to take care of the house and the pups while we are gone.  She seems to be totally unconcerned while I seem to be a nervous wreck.  I guess I'll just miss Copper and Odie and worry that Nearly won't be able to find the bath towels or the extra toilet paper.  (Maybe I should really be worried that she is going to have wild parties and/or set the house on fire)  Nah, she wouldnt', right??  I am glad that someone will be staying at our house so that it can be watched over.  I appreciate her helping us!!

I did start packing yesterday with the help of the kids.  We got the DVD's packed and all the kids toys, books, magazines and sketch books.  (That took longer than you think)  Tonight is coupon night (not to be missed no matter what) so I'm running with the kids to Bilo, going home and cooking a quick dinner and then packing all the kids clothes and hopefully starting on mine. 


I make the kids choose what they take with them very carefully.  I don't have room for all that shit!!

With over 193,448,043 views on youtube, I'm sure you have seen this video but I had to post it because I love it.  I watched it the other day with my 2 kids who were not part of the 193,448,043 but now, they are.  If you haven't seen it, you're going to love it.  If you've already seen it, watch it again.  It's just as good the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time. 

Then the kids and I noticed there was a second video!!  YAY!!

My friend at work brought this to my attention just today:

OMG, I almost choked on my own spit, I laughed so hard.

Supa and I were watching TV the other night when we saw an anti-smoking ad that gave me goose bumps. I have been looking on the Internet for a while now so that I could post it but I CAN'T FIND IT!!!  GRRRR!!!  (I am so glad we stopped smoking and I never plan to smoke again for the rest of my life.)

So, I found some others for your viewing pleasure.  If you're a smoker, hopefully this will make you think about it:

I feel so bad that his wife passed away and left him.  Poor fella.  This is just ONE of the reasons why Supa and I don't smoke anymore.  I wish to God we had never smoked a single cigarette but I guess you can't undo what is done so we'll just be non-smokers forever moving forward.

That last one was a doozie.  Terrible and true yet informative.
