Party Like It's 1999!!

So, we had Supa's birthday party this past weekend.  It was everything it was supposed to be and then some.  We had tons of food and lots of laughing going on.  I also got some pretty interesting pictures...mostly taken by Lolly since I was too busy playing good hostess to take too many pictures.  Sometimes you just have to hand the camera over.   Thank you, Lolly!

No, the sign didn't say SUPA...I had to alter that because I'm not sharing our identities! Maybe one day but not today.  Look at all that food!!!  We had plenty and we ate plenty!  I even pulled out my white table cloth for him!
Lucky bastard! I would definitely want to be married to me.
The fondue pot on the left had my Ringtomditty in it and crock pot on the right had Jade's buffalo chicken dip in it.  I don't eat it because it is FULL of hot sauce and blue cheese, which I am fond of neither, but Supa LOVES it.  Nearly Perfect got her Mom to make some kind of red bell pepper dip which is down in front surrounded by Ritz crackers.  Over all, plenty of food.

We ended up sitting outside on the deck for most of the time.  It was absolutely beautiful outside, not the usual 115 degrees that we're used to but still hate.  I set up enough chairs for everyone, a table for setting beverages on and I took my speakers and iPod outside so we could jam out.  Yeah, I fucking said jam out....what of it?!  It was a good time, let me tell you.
I had to alter Supa's appearance just a tad for this one.  At least you can tell that he's "Proud to be Awesome" and he's also in the middle of doing his best Beavis and Butthead impression when Lolly snapped the picture.  Oh geez.

Lucky for the adults, we all sprung (no pun intended but still ha!) in together to get Dazzle and Neon a trampoline this past Christmas.  Here is a photo of what happens when 4 adults, who haven't been drinking TOO much but are still having fun, get on said trampoline.

Alrighty, now I am the one that is outside of the trampoline, on the deck, craning my neck to take this picture.  And then you have from left to right, Lolly, Jade, Shorty and Supa.  Oh geez.  I wish this picture came with sound because they were laughing their butts off.  If this is what Supa wants to do on his birthday, be my guest.  He really looked like he was enjoying himself.  I kinda wish you could see their laughing faces.
After many shenanigans and lots of song singing, it was time for dessert!

I know it doesn't look very fancy but I did Grama Darling PROUD.  It was gooey and delicious!!!
Before long it was GONE!  Damn party people loved it so much, they didn't save any for Neon or Dazzle so the next day I had to make another batch!  WOW.

That was about it.  One of my friends bought the UFC fight on cable for them to watch and they kept going from the kitchen, to the deck, to the tv.  I didn't watch any of the fight because I was busy maintaining the mess but I HEARD them watching it and it sounded like someone was getting their ass beat...which I guess is the point.  DUH!  They seemed to enjoy it so that's all that matters.

I only had one drunkard on my couch for the night.  Everyone else left safely and happily.  Jade and Lolly were the only two brave enough to help me clean up the mess afterward.  (That's normal)  It was an awesome night of fun and I'm glad that Supa had a wonderful birthday!

Until next time.....
