Where Does The Weekend Go??!!

This past weekend was wonderful.  Absolutely fabulous actually for the most part!  I'm not very excited to be at work on this Tuesday morning but complaining is not really an option since I just got back from a 3 day weekend (thank you very much Mr. Christopher Columbus) and I know some very special people who were not fortunate to have the day off.  (Jade, I feel for you, I really do!!  The cable company should be closed too in order to show proper Columbus love!!)  SO, no complaining from me today!  Tomorrow may be another story!  :P

I never thought someone this unattractive could make me so happy!

Friday night Jade came over and we made some interesting goodies for Neon's zombie party.

I'm so thankful that Lolly took these pictures at the party because I totally forgot!!!  These were the marshmallow eyeballs.  Neon LOVES marshmallows so I knew they would be a big hit.  They were fun, easy and Jade & I had a great time making them.    Let me tell you, we used a whole bag of marshmallows and they were GONE before the end of the night.

OH!  SCARY!  Heehee!  These are the zombie cupcakes that Jade and I made for Neon.  I had to order the little bleeding zombie hands from the Internet because I couldn't find them anywhere in town but who cares??  The cupcakes turned out so cute scary!  Neon absolutely loved them and they tasted like heaven. (well duh, look who made them!)  PS, the "dirt" on top of the "grass" is Oreo cookies in case anyone was wondering.  I never knew Oreo cookie crumbs would be SO tasty on top of a cupcake.
We also made deviled egg eyeballs but I didn't get a picture of those.  We used red mayo for veins and black olive slices for corneas.  They turned out really good and everyone ate them up!

We had "bloody worms and moldy bread" spaghetti and garlic bread  for the birthday dinner and it was YUMMY!!  Neon really enjoyed it which is all that mattered to me!  Nearly Perfect  brought a little pumpkin man that was filled with veggie dip and some baby carrots.  It looked kind of like a pumpkin or maybe an old man but it was really cute either way!  Love you, Nearly!

This entry isn't going to be too wordy since I have lots of pictures to post today!
Watch out!  There are zombies crossing here!  Right in the middle of my damn kitchen!  UGH!  LOL

This is our kitchen....I had to kill one small family to get the blood I needed to make this tablecloth!

The party plates, napkins and cups that cost us an arm and a leg (almost literally :) from Party City and a closer look at my tablecloth.  I'm very proud of it!  Also, behind the chairs you can see the zombie poster that Dazzle made for her brother.  She's quite the young artist!

Nana Darling sent this poster for Neon.  She drew it and it was so scary to him that he asked me if I would hang it in his closet!  LOL!
Upon closer inspection, Neon realized that it was just a poster that Nana drew that that I could hang it in his room.  Just not facing the bed.  :)  Heehee  Golly, I love you silly, Neon!

Just the other side of the table.....

The front porch...The caution tape says "Enter, If You Dare!".  Muahahahaha!   See me there in the door taking the picture??  Heehee!

The inside of the front door/corner of the foyer.  The door stickies glow in the dark....

The table in the foyer, usually where my purse and other assorted shit goes.  The fake hand made quite an impression.

So, I went a little picture crazy.  WHAT OF IT?!  At least you got a closer look at said hand!  I did light the candles...When it was dark...and the piece of computer paper they are sitting on???  Well, I didn't want wax on my damn table!

Going out of the foyer and towards the living room.  I need to change my sign to say "dogS" now.  That spider over on the wall moves up and down, too!

Neon got PLENTY of gifts.  In fact, this is only SOME of the presents!  The blood stained ones are from us of course!

Copper!  You are supposed to hide!!  We are not supposed to reveal our identities!!  You silly pup!  And there is Odie on the couch!  At least he's TRYING to hide!  I LOVE how my bloody bed sheets turned out!!!!

The other side of the living room.  Copper would not move!  He wanted to know what the hell was on the couch!

And a wider angle with love seat included.  That was one more small family I had to murder for the blood I needed to do the sheets.  I hope I get away with it!!!!!

Well, this is a picture of Nearly's leg (she was my photographer for the evening)  COPPER!  WHY are you such a camera whore!!??
That's all the pictures that I can post on here and keep our identities hidden.  Anyone that knows me in real life can look at my facebook page for the rest of the pictures.

I want to send a very special shout out to my real  friends and family for all their help with the party.  I don't think could have pulled it off without you!

Jade, thank you for helping make all the food (well, most of it anyhow) and decorate the whole damn house.  I love you and I know you hate streamers but we did it.  :)  Thank you for helping clean up, controlling the kids and keeping me sane.  I don't know what I would have done if my favorite zombie bitch wouldn't have shown up.

Nearly, thank you for helping clean up after each round (cause there were several).  Thank you for bringing snacks and jello shots for the adult after party.  Thank you for taking almost all of the photographs because I sure didn't have time to take any and what is a party without photos?  Thank you for being you and making me laugh.  I heart you so much!!

Lolly, thank you for taking some of the best pictures ever.  I love you AND your really nice camera!  ;)  I hardly noticed you were taking so many!  Thank you for loving the kids and making them giggle...They think you are a kid just like they are and they love you for it.  They have plenty of serious adults around them so you are just what they need!  XXXOOO  Love you bunches, baby!

Supa, thank you for dressing up like a zombie even though it might not be the coolest, most adult like thing to do.  I'm really glad that you got into character and let your hair down with the kids.  Sometimes, we just need to have a good time.  I love you with all my heart and YOU KNOW IT!

Neon, I know your party kicked ass!  Don't worry, you can thank me later, when you have a J.O.B.  :)  Mama loves you sweetie!

Dazzle, you were the prettiest zombie I have EVER seen!  Xxoo

***Side note:  My children do not read my blog.  There were no children harmed in the making of this blog.  But, I'm assuming they will read it once they are old enough to drink.  They can get my messages then!***

Uncle Darling, thank you for submitting this picture.  I knew it would go great somewhere.  Your input is GREATLY appreciated!
Holy SHIT!  I'm glad zombie kitty didn't show up.  I would have RAN!  That is one of the FREAKIEST things I have ever seen!!!!  Copper would have attemtped to eat it.  He is scared of NOTHING!
I'm sure you'll be hearing from me some time later this week.....
