Don't Expect Amazing

I'm just really not feeling it today.  I'm sleepy and ready to head to the house!  With only 2 hours and 23 minutes left, I probably shouldn't be complaining (hell, I've make it this far) yet here I am, whining about how I want to GO HOME!  What a loser.

This isn't going to be a very long post since I don't have much time.  I did want to blog a little today since I will be away from my desk Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday yet AGAIN this week.  **SIGH**  This shit is so on my nerves!!  I did absolutely nothing important last week when I was visiting the other departments (except I did make some new friends :) and I'm imagining another 3 days worth of time wasted this week.  BLEH!  But, I do what I get paid to do!

I'm sitting here desperately trying to remember what happened this past weekend so I'll have something to write about and with the exception of yesterday, I'm drawing a blank.  I think I'm going to have to call Jade at work and ask her what the hell we did Friday night....Hang on....

Not exactly the TWC that Jade works for...You can just use your imagination.  I can't remember if I revealed where Jade works in an earlier post or not....Hmmmm....I guess I should read my own damn blog from time to time?!

SO, I'm back.  Jade said that we did spend time together on Friday night and that she is going to stop coming over all together if our precious time together is THIS memorable for me.  LOL.  I knew she came over damnit but I couldn't remember for the life of me what we did. 

Actually, we went to The Dollar Store to look for a few specific things and then over to Wally World.  I had to get more supplies for Neon's birthday and without giving Jade a warning so she couldn't say no my weekly groceries.  What can I say?  I needed some company damnit.  I'm not totally miserable without Kitti and Ace, and life does go on with or without them but I do notice a lack of noise and company at our house which just means that I have extra ME time.  Since I'm not used to that, I have to figure out what to do with all this free time!

Anyhow, we were out for a few hours and when we finally got back home, unloaded all the stuff and put it away, I was ready to crash on the couch.  Supa, Dazzle and Neon were all snug in their beds and that was fine with me.  I laid on the couch and watched TV until I could stay away no longer and then I went and crawled in my bed.  Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......


I love it when I fall asleep in this position on the couch and then my neck hurts for the next 48 hours.  FML.

Saturday morning (Supa was at work long before we woke up) we got out of bed when we felt like it (8:30) and then we started putting up the Halloween decorations.  That was a good time.  The kids always like doing that and I didn't even fall off of a chair hanging stuff!  Neon was getting really excited about his zombie party and all the Halloween decor that goes with it.

I got all the laundry and dishes done that morning so we had plenty of time to GET OUR ZOMBIE COSTUMES READY!  Oh, people, that was FUN!  I had two white sheets and one tablecloth to tea stain, I also had 4 pairs of clothing to RUIN so that we would look like proper zombies.  SO, Dazzle, Neon and I made our way out to the front lawn to get our zombie on.  I used scissors to get some holes started for easy tearing, real dirt and grass stains from rubbing the clothes on the lawn and pavement, red acrylic paint to create the bloody hand print look and the ever popular sprinkle of bleach.  Let's just put it this way, those clothes were properly fucked!  When we were finished we spread all the sheets and clothes out on the front lawn and I was just wondering when someone was going to drive by and call 911!  It looked like we had just murdered a whole family of people out there!  LOL!  Just like we wanted it to look!

That was a really fun project to do with the kids.  Dazzle was like, "Are we really going to rub these clothes in the dirt?".  YES WE SURE ARE!  Enjoy it while you can because you won't be doing this very often!  LOL  After that, it was relaxation time!  Supa came home and we had a nice dinner together as a family.  We decided to stay home and watch TV together until we couldn't hold our eyes open any longer :)  

We are a family that loves our television. 

Sunday we got up and had some breakfast together.  Then Supa and I decided we deserved some alone time even if it is just to run some mostly boring errands (we hardly see each other anymore mind you).  So we told the kids they could play Halo until their fingers bled while we were away and that made them extremely happy!  We got ready and off we went to run some errands.  We made it to Walmart, Bilo, and the animal shelter!  All very exciting places to go with your husband!!  We bought Neon a few birthday presents at Walmart, got 5 packs of turkey lunch meat and 5 packs of ham lunch meat at Bilo for $9.00 (thanks to Supa's crazy coupon lady of a wife), and went to the animal shelter to get puppy food (but ended up playing with the puppies for about 30 minutes and THAT was fun times with my husband because he loves puppies as much as I do!). 

We went back home to have lunch with the kids and we found LOLLY on our doorstep.  Jk, I knew she was coming to see us but I just didn't know exactly when and she wasn't on the damn doorstep....She does have a key to our palace so she was on the couch with the kids ;)  We had a leftover kind of lunch and then we decided we wanted to go to the flea market.  It was beautiful outside!  At this point, the kids didn't want to go ANYWHERE so we left them at the house and off we went! 

Oh hells yeah!  I love me some freakin' flea market! 
All we came home with was boiled peanuts and that was fine with me!

We went by the dumpster as usual and got our coupons for the week.  Then we dropped Jade's share off at her house.  After that we just went on back home.  Lolly had to leave to get her weekly laundry done and I was ready to rest!  I was all tired out from running around SO, I took a nap on the couch until Supa woke me up to eat dinner.  

TRUST!  I can and will sleep ANYWHERE!


That was about it for the weekend!  We finished up dinner and got everyone ready for Monday.  Then we just about repeated what we did on Saturday night!  Because sometimes, the simple relaxing nights are the best of all!
