Yep, I'm Sick AGAIN

I can't believe I'm sick again!  Neon had a sinus infection.  He gave it to me.  Then Neon had another sinus infection.  HE GAVE IT TO ME AGAIN!  I'm so sick of being sick!  (My poor little germ carrier Neon too!) 

As soon as this nasty crud heals up, I'll be back to happy, I'm sure.

I can't even fully enjoy this being Day #8 of not smoking because I feel like shitty shit.  BUT, just a quick update on that....We are feeling better about not smoking.  That first week was really rough (as we both expected it to be) but we've both agreed that it's definitely getting easier now and thankfully we have kept ourselves together and no one has killed anyone yet. 


If we didn't have the support of each other, we wouldn't be successful.  I'm so lucky to have Supa by my side!

Honestly, this is what it feels like.  What a great illustration!  I just felt like I was drowning in nicotine.

Friday night, I didn't do a damn thing.  I woke up with a sore throat Friday morning so by the time I worked, got home, made dinner and cleaned up, I was dead.  I didn't even get on the treadmill.  Straight on the couch I went.  Supa got home and I fell asleep on the couch watching TV with him.  At some point, he got me from the couch to the bed, this adventure, I don't even remember (I wouldn't be surprised if he carried my big ass - I also don't put it past him). 

Saturday morning, (Supa of course working all day) I got up and went to get my nails done (I was so determined to go on with my weekend as planned.  My throat hurt but that was about it.)  Everyone thought black and yellow would be a fun idea so:

I got finished at the nail salon, went back home to the kids and my friend R.J.A.T.W was there playing video games with them.  We hung out at the house for a little bit and then we took the kids out to eat lunch.  We ended up at House of Pizza, Neon's absolute favorite.  Pizza and Greek salad for us, steak sandwich for R.J.A.T.W.  YUM! 

After lunch, we took R.J.A.T.W. to Pet's Inc. to play with the puppies.  He had never been there before and the kids thought it would be fun.  We had a blast.  We played, pet and kissed all the puppies twice.   We got Copper some cow hooves and decided we had to leave so we didn't try to steal a few puppies.  OMG, Supa would KILL me if I came home with another puppy. 

We left the puppy place and decided to go to a craft show.  We have never been to the big craft show here in town so we decided to go and check it out.  It was going to cost a whopping $8.00 for all of us to get in so I figured that would be some cheap fun.  I was looking for Easter basket presents for Aunt Darling, Nana Darling and Grampa so I thought it would also be a nice place to find something different. 

The craft show was at the fair grounds and the kids thought it was really weird that we couldn't get an elephant ear or ride rides while we were there.  HAHA!  I had to explain that the place looked so empty because the fair MOVES around from place to place :) 

This was me fooling around and trying to get a picture of the place while Neon was in the bathroom.  LOL

Dazzle was helping me take pictures with her phone because AGAIN I forgot my fucking camera.  (I swear I'm going to attach my camera to my face somehow so I can't leave it at home anymore.  I'm such a bad bloggess!)  So, we're standing there and Dazzle is taking a photo of this really cool rope dragon when the man at the booth says, "EXCUSE ME!!  EXCUSE ME!!  NO PHOTOS!!!!"   Well, WHY THE FUCK NOT?!  I didn't say that but hello?!  We're taking pictures because your shit is COOL!  Never mind that then!  We had no idea we weren't supposed to be taking pics!  I guess they don't want you to copy their ideas...Do we look like we are capable of creating dragons made of rope?!  Oh well.  So, get ready for some sneaky, yet very shitty pictures:


Hand painted bunny eggs.  Dazzle liked them but I thought they were ugly.  Nana Darling could have painted an egg that would have blown these out of the water.



A little USC on your egg perhaps?!  Someone was going to buy this one....



There were eggs everywhere!!  Easter I guess....



Since I almost had to slap this man for talking to Dazzle like he was, I wouldn't even consider leaving his rope dragon out of the blog.  It was REALLY cool but when a jerk made it, it tends to lessen the value.  :)



And a bigger photo...Maybe he was ULTRA pissed because she took not one photo but TWO!  Bahahahahaha!

We did see some really cool crafty stuff but we didn't buy one damn thing.  Everything was SUPER overpriced!  I guess I should have known.  We were at a craft show.  When we were finished we mosied on over to the Marble Slab Creamery.  We needed ice cream (my throat hurt!)

We got our ice cream and headed home.

The kids and our company watched TV while i snored away on the couch!  LOL!!  I wasn't feeling too great and I was tired!  R.J.A.T.W didn't care one damn bit!  When I woke up, it was time to make dinner.  Taco night was wonderful and Supa got home in time to eat with us! 

After dinner, Jade came over for awhile and R.J.A.T.W. went ahead and headed out since he has an hour drive to get home from our house. 

We hung out for a little while on the couch watching TV since I wasn't feeling too hot.  After Jade left, I passed out again. 

Sunday, Supa was OFF!  YAY!  I felt very much worse when I woke up so I went straight to the CVS Minute Clinic which was really nice and fast.  They told me what I already knew, another sinus infection, gave me a script and off I  was on my way back home.  The entire process took 15 minutes (plus 10 minutes to get my script filled) with a copay of $20.00.  And on a Sunday!  What a miracle!  If anyone is interested, I can describe the Minute Clinic better later.


I had never been there before.  Nearly told me about it and it was a WIN, WIN, WIN!  I will definitely go back.

Once I got home with antibiotics, I ran to the flea market with Supa.  The movie guy WAS there and after I harassed him repeatedly for leaving me high and dry for the last 3 weeks in a row, I got Puss in Boots for Dazzle and Neon from the Easter Bunny.  Dazzle really wants it and I know Neon will love it too.  I controlled myself so that I didn't buy the latest zombie movie that just came out.  I want to read the reviews first.  :)

Then we went home, got the kids and took them to lunch.  The kids said they wanted Chinese food so we decided to take them somewhere new.  We ended up at a Hibachi/Sushi Chinese buffet that is pretty close to the house and we drive past all the time but have never eaten there.  I even had a coupon :)  It was really good and we had a great time together stuffing ourselves. 

When we got back home, Jade came and got me and took me to Target.  (I must have been feeling kinda shitty if I had her drive since I always drive us everywhere.  I realized that sometimes, it's fun to just ride...ya know?!)  She knew I was sick so she spoiled me to death.  She led me around, helping me find everything I needed and plenty I didn't need and even took me to get something hot to drink when we were finished.  *Love you, Jade* 

When Jade dropped me off at home, I passed out on the couch.  (No surprise there, right?)  Supa kept watch over me from the love seat and the kids did all my Sunday chores for me :)  (Dishes, laundry, made all the lunches, and gathered all the trash for trash night)  I thanked them bunches!  I woke up from my nap and had a little snack for dinner.  We didn't really feel like eating since we were still gorged with Chinese food.  I also ran to the dumpster with Supa so he could jump in for me and dig out some coupons.  Finally, after not having any the past 3 weeks, we found some.  I was getting desperate!  Thank God!  We delivered some to Jade's house and then went back home.

I fell asleep on the couch yet again.  Supa, being the sweet husband he is, made sure that when he went to bed, so did I.  (This time I was alert enough to know I walked to bed all by myself :)

I think that's about our weekend in a nutshell.  I'm tired, snotty and crabby with my sickness so I guess I'll call it a bloggy day and talk to everyone tomorrow.
