Happy Friday!

This week has been pretty calm like I thought it would be.  Thank God because I sure needed it.  There were only three highlights that I can think of....

#1:

Lolly came over Tuesday night after work to have dinner with us (hot dogs) and watch True Blood.  We watched two episodes and then realized we only have one left until the end of the 4th season.  ARG!  Since season five just finished airing on HBO, we have quite a wait until that season comes out on DVD.  I'm hoping to talk Lolly into watching Weeds with me since I have all of those seasons on DVD.
I fucking love this picture.  It's the background on my iPad right now.

It's a great show and I can't wait to see season five!!!

#2:

Christmas shopping at my desk is SO fun!  I can just sit here and buy all my gifts online and I don't even have to drive anywhere!!  I really hate dealing with the crowds and traffic so this is a perfect solution for me.  I love buying things for the people that are important to me and I have been having loads of fun doing it.

#3:

Last night, Supa, Dazzle, Neon, Red & Buzz Lightyear and I went to dinner together.  We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant and had a blast.  I hope that we can all hang out together again soon.  We love them!  We always have so much fun and just laugh and laugh.  I need more dinners like that in my life.  We did talk about going on a double date night soon to eat dinner and play laser tag.  That sounds like a great time!

Their food is the BOMB and the kids love it too!!
That's about all the excitement I could handle this week.  LOL

Of course, I would never let my nails suffer during my lazy week.  I painted them one of the new colors Supa and I picked out together last weekend.
It looks like Christmas green to me but it's called "Starboard".
Super sent me a picture of my boyfriend who I haven't seen in a while:
I love this face!!!

Super, I miss you and Patient!!  I hope you guys are doing well and I really hope we get to hang out again soon!  XXOOXX

Red sent me this one and it's SO us!!

HAHA!  I'm SUPER awesome and I know it!  :)
Santa, you are in trouble this year with all these awesome blunt cards!!!
My thoughts exactly!

Haha!  Too funny!!

That's all for today folks!  I'm tired and ready to read 50 Shades at my desk until 6PM gets here.

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and I'll be back on Monday.

My Planless Week

I have no plans for this entire week.  I would usually be bummed out about that and make some plans as fast as I could but not this week.  After all the activities of the past weekend, I'm ready for some good old fashioned lazy time!

I thought Dazzle did pretty well with the Christmas decoration pictures that she took.  She spends a great deal of her practice time taking photos of the dogs.  Here are two of Copper that I really liked:
He leaves his bandanna on until he gets hot and then he chews on it until it falls off.  LOL

I think Cat Mama added his name to this one.

Odie hates having his picture taken so he's not as easy to use for practice shots.

I was busy doing a little Facebook stalking when I saw this photo of R.J.A.T.W's sister.  I loved it so much, I had to share:
I love how her identity is perfectly hidden, no editing necessary!

How did she do that?  I want to make sand children the next time I go to the beach.  I know mine won't be half as awesome as hers.  COOL!

I have a few funnies that I gathered and then I'm OUT....Time to try to finish 50 Shades (so I can start book 2!)
And gives no fuck what-so-ever.  LMAO!  Still surfing the Internet.

HAHAHAHA!  Poor 5th wheel guy!!

Yep, that would be me!!!  I'll take two!  LMAO!

Aunt Darling sent me this next funny...Except she wasn't kidding:
She IS pretty awesome.  LOL
That's all I have for today.  I'll be back hopefully tomorrow if work isn't too busy.

Jade's Birthday Dinner And Christmas Decorating....

After I got home from work on Friday, I wrapped Jade's gifts and did some laundry.  I finally got to take a nap but it wasn't a long one.  I think I slept for about 1 hour & 15 minutes and then I had to get back up and get ready for Jade's birthday dinner out with the girls.

Jade decided that she wanted to go to Olive Garden for her birthday meal.  (I wasn't shocked, this is her favorite place to eat)  Lolly, Jade, and Nearly all met me at our house.  I was almost finished getting ready and after we regrouped, Nearly drove us across town to have some yummy dinner!

We had a fun time at dinner.  We just talked and laughed a whole bunch while stuffing ourselves silly.  At some point over dinner, we decided we needed to go to the porn shop afterwards to see if we could find anything interesting.  Heehee!  We were talking about 50 Shades of Grey and of course, our own sexcapades.  That's what girls talk about when they're alone!

Off to Nancy's Nook we went:

Guess who bought this gem?
Keeping in the spirit of reading our books here lately, Lolly decided to go all Christian Grey on Camo Man's ass cheeks and bought this riding crop.  HELLO!  We all spanked each other's behinds with it while we looked at other things.  Hey, we had to make sure it worked properly right?  (PS, now I want one too!  LOL)

Since Lolly and Camo are engaged now, we took a good look at the bachelorette party products.

A pecker shaped glo-stick?!  I bought Cat Mama (remember this is Jade's 13 year old daughter) 20 glo-sticks for her birthday as a joke because she said something to me about wanting 80 of them so I thought I would get her started.  Lolly said maybe I should have gotten her some of these instead.  LMAO!  I've never seen these before.  Too funny.

We have seen and did see some super weird shit during our time at the porn shop.  I think this one was one of the most disturbing things I've seen in a while.  The name made me crack up laughing because it reminded me of Supa's favorite Carowinds ride.

Please say hello to, "The Intimidator".
Holy fucking shit, dude.  Just to know that there are people out there, trying to shove this inside of them is enough to give a person nightmares.  Lolly and I had to pick it up to get a good picture and this thing is heavy too!  GROSS!!!  I was embarrassed to be holding it long enough to get a good photo (and it's very hard to embarrass me).

When we were finished buying up half the store amusing ourselves, we went back to my place for presents and cake leftover pumpkin pie.

Since I already bought Jade her tattoo for her birthday, she only had two little things to open from Supa, the kids and I.
I didn't have a card or tags (hell, I already gave her the card a week ago!) so I used mini sticky notes!

Her very own Survivor buff!  This one is from the current season too!
The Survivor buff is kind of an inside joke.  Grampa and Aunt Darling have about a million of them and have passed the obsession onto the kids, Supa and I.  Of course, when Jade saw mine, she wanted one too.  Dazzle loaned her one until she got her own.  I guess I should remind her to return Dazzle's now.  LOL.  Jade, we officially welcome you to the buff club.  :)

The other gift was a magnet with a picture of Jade and I on it.  Good stuff!

We were so full from our fabulous dinner that we didn't have room to even eat pie!  We hung out for a little while and then everyone went on home.  We were all super tired.

Saturday, Supa and I ran a bunch of errands.  I'm going to give the short version since most of them are no very exciting:

--Supa and Neon's hair cuts (golly my boys looked handsome!)

--Sally's for new fingernail polish.  Supa went inside with me and picked out 3 of the 5 colors that I bought.  :)

--Home Depot for a staple gun to hang the lights on the house (thank you again for that gift card, Uncle Darling!)

--Pet's Inc to get dog food and bones for chewing

--Walmart for party supplies

--Bilo for BOGO bread!

--Subway to pick up lunch

FINALLY, we went home to unload and eat our lunch.  Shortly after lunch, R.J.A.T.W showed up and we started putting up the Christmas decorations.

The men put the tree together while Dazzle, Neon and I worked on the other inside decorations.  We got most of it completed but we didn't quite finish.  I kind of shocked myself at how many Christmas decorations we have now.  LOL, I guess I went a little overboard buying them after Christmas last year.

We had to stop decorating to get ready for our football party.  The big Carolina/Clemson football game was that night and we had a few friends coming over to party.  I was almost finished getting ready and had just started painting my nails when everyone arrived.
I know you can't really tell but this was pale pink (Nearly's idea) with snowflake glitter on top (Supa's idea).

Our party consisted of Supa, myself, Lolly, Camo Man, Jade, Nearly Perfect and R.J.A.T.W.  We decided to keep it small and personal because everyone was so tired from our already busy weekend.

I made sausage dip and ranch dip.  We had two different kinds of chips and mini ham sandwiches (thank you for Thanksgiving leftovers!).  We also had mini cupcakes that I made and leftover pumpkin pie.  YUM!

Our team won the game and even though we were all very wore out, we had a great time.  Good food, good game, good company.  Amen.

R.J.A.T.W spent the night so that he could help Supa with the outside lights in the morning.

We got up and got straight to work Sunday morning:

I knew I bought a bunch of bows last year but I didn't realize I got this many.  :)

What can I say?  They were a dime each!!

This is the first year we have ever decorated the outside of our house for Christmas.  We have never been able to afford the lights or the ladder that this project would require.  I was very excited to see how it would go and to see if it would turn out the way I imagined.

I finally have a program to edit pictures on that's easy to use!
That's Supa up there on the ladder trying to get the lights "just right".  LOL

R.J.A.T.W was helping him (as much as he could from down on the ground) and offering moral support.
This is the other half of the house.
It's hard to tell what it will look like in the dark.  Supa said I didn't buy near enough lights (WTF, I bought TONS of them!  I guess the house is bigger on the outside than I thought it was!)
I think he did a great job seeing as how this was his very first attempt.

Or course, it didn't turn out how I imagined in my head but I still think it's really pretty.  The kids were very proud of their Dad and I know it will only get better each year.  (Plus, I'm buying many more lights for next year :)  I like the net lights on the bushes but we need about 10 more sets.  LOL
There are red bows on each black shutter...Unfortunately you can't see those in the dark.
I think the kids and I did a pretty good job with the inside.  Dazzle asked if she could take pictures of everything for my blog so she could get extra practice in for her journalism class.  I definitely could use a photographer so I handed over my camera.
This is as soon as you walk into the front door.  I love a blue foyer!

Same scene with the light on this time.

The icicles above the kitchen table and around the light are new.

More blue lights in the doorway leading into the kitchen.

Haha!  Same doorway, light on!

I liked this close up shot of part of the mantle.

We are a four person family with at least 10 stockings.  LOL Santa better get busy!

I love to decorate my movie shelves!!!
I'm pretty sure I'll have to buy another shelf soon since I'm running out of space.  Yay, more space to decorate!  LOL

We went with blue garland and white lights this year.  I like to shake it up a bit so it looks different.

Dazzle was practicing taking photos at different angles.
We were all tired after all the decorating was finished.  R.J.A.T.W went home to get ready for the week.  We didn't feel like cooking dinner so we went to Fatz.  YUM!  When we got back home, no one had any energy to do anything except lay on the couch and watch some TV until bedtime.

And then...It was Monday all over again!

We really had a nice Thanksgiving holiday and I hope everyone else did too.  I can't believe Christmas is coming so quickly!

Happy Turkey Day!!

I would like to start out this post with a few random things I previously forgot about.

I sent Uncle Darling his birthday card the other day and he has received it.  (I've been holding off posting the photo of it because I wanted him to be surprised)
There was a $25 iTunes gift card inside.
Aunt Darling helped me decide.  Since he doesn't go out to eat (WTF?!  Who doesn't go out to eat?!)  we thought this would be something he could definitely use.  Bingo!  He already text me and said he loved it.

Red sent me this the other day and I laughed until I almost cried:
LOL, oh, don't we all!
Fucking get it together, Santa!  Last year, you were such a slack ass!!!

The next day after the girls and I got back from our Breaking Dawn trip, we took Cat Mama, Dazzle and Neon to the movies to see it for Cat's birthday.  WAHOO, time #2 for Jade and I!!!  (I'm hoping to take Supa to see it soon so I can make that time #3!)  We had Subway for lunch and made dirt for Cat's birthday gathering that night.

Cat doesn't like cake (another WTF?!) but she does like my dirt recipe.
It is supposed to say "Happy Birthday" and then Dazzle cropped her name off of it for me.  Jade did her best.  I think she just needed bigger M&M's really....No one cared and everyone ate it up.

We got her exactly what she asked for.
A nail polish shelf just like the one I have.  :)
This is Cat hiding behind the box so I can take the photo.  We had a great time at Jade's Mom and Dad's house and we all ate too much dirt.

Dazzle recently decided that she loves Bon Jovi.  Well, at least one song from my collection.  She made a video to represent her affection for the song and for me....(I guess...?)

Very short and very cute.  Maybe I have a movie producer on my hands?  Hmmmm....

We once again celebrated Thanksgiving by ourselves.  I did invite Dark Special to spend the day with us but luckily for him, he got to go home and see his family.  We missed having him but I know he was glad to go home.  I also missed our family immensely but I did get to call and talk to Grampa Darling so that made me feel better.

We had TOO much to eat as usual....I made sure to get on the treadmill first thing Thanksgiving morning so that I wouldn't feel TOO guilty for eating all this delicious food....
BEFORE

The famous pumpkin pie recipe.  Thank you Grama for leaving this with us.  Neon goes CRAZY over my pies so I knew I had to make two of them.
AFTER

They smelled amazing!
BEFORE

**I was determined to be a good blogger and not forget photos this time.  Supa and Dazzle helped me take lots of pictures.**

Supa got the smallest turkey he could find from the Pub-Dizzle.
It's almost done!!

AFTER
I can still smell it.  YUM!!!!
Yep, our little 4 person family needed a turkey AND a ham!

I really wanted the ham to make bunches of leftovers for the freezer.  Ham casserole is great in the winter and fast/easy to throw together.
BEFORE

Mmmm, yeast rolls!  I had no idea these little suckers had to sit out for 3 hours before baking them (for 10 mins, WTF?!).  They were worth the wait.
AFTER

Wow, they were warm and super delicious.

Supa's stuffing.  It's so good!

It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without Grama's deviled eggs.

My homemade mac and cheese.  Mixed with love, topped with Planko bread crumbs and popped in the oven for a little while to reach a melty perfection.  OMG, it was amazing.

Supa's broccoli and cheese casserole.
We are a cheesy kind of family.  LOL

Turkey gravy!

Not sure why this pic turned out so yellow looking....Maybe from the weird light over the stove....
Those are my loaded mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese among other things...The kids were moaning.  :)  I aim to please.

We ate and ate.  Copper and Odie had some ham and turkey.  When we were finished, Neon looked like he was pregnant!
That's a massive food baby if I ever seen one!!  LOL

After we laid on the couch for a few minutes letting our stomachs settle, it was time to clean up the mess and put all the food away.  It didn't take very long with all 4 of us working together but by the time we were finished, I wasn't feeling like washing one more pot.  LOL.

I laid on the couch and fell into a deep food coma while the kids watched football with their Dad.

I woke up about 3 hours later when Nearly text me.  I was glad that she did because I had to get up and get ready for our Black Friday shopping!!  Wahoo!!  I was excited and ready!

Jade and Nearly arrived at exactly the same moment, you would have thought they planned that shit.  Jade and I were going shopping, Nearly Perfect was stopping by to spread her Thanksgiving cheer.  We looked at all the sales ads together to make our plan of action.  Nearly said that she wanted to go with us and we told her she had to follow our ground rules if she wanted to join us:
Black Friday:  Learn the survival rules.
1)  NO PURSES - If you take your purse inside the stores with you on Black Friday, you're asking to be mugged or beaten for your shit.  It's just what could happen.  You also need to have both your hands/arms free for rule #2.

2)  NO BUGGIES some people refer to these as carts- If you can't carry it, you can't have it.  People with buggies get trapped in the crowd and can't move around or escape quickly.  Not us bitches.  The only exception to rule #2 is if you must buy a TV, trampoline or other large ticket item.  In that case, reinforcements will be called in for assistance and a master plan will be created.

3)  NO SEPARATION - Try to stay within sight of each other.  Don't wander off and leave the group.  Always stay in the same area and make sure you have your charged cell phone in your pocket in case the crowd involuntary separates us or if you run into a situation where 911 may need to be dialed.   You will need your cell phone.

Nearly agreed to our list of rules and was granted permission to accompany us.  (I hope she felt really special because we don't let people go with us.  No one is fucking our Black Friday mission)

We had a GREAT time and Nearly was an excellent asset to our little team.  We had two extra arms, she didn't complain or bitch and we made out like bandits!  We left the house around 7PM and we were so hyped up we forgot to eat pumpkin pie!  Oops!!

Stop #1 -

Walmart:

There was a good amount of people milling around inside the store.  The sale started at 8PM and by the time we walked the perimeter and scoped out where things were, we had about 15 minutes to stake our claim on the things we really wanted.  We decided to position ourselves at the video games.  There were a couple we needed and there were also some PS3 controllers that were on sale for half price.

When the associates said, "GO" and started taking the wrap off of the display, everyone went nuts.  It was totally uncalled for because there were plenty of items to go around but madness still ensued.  We got what we needed and got out.

I don't think we were in Walmart for a very long time.  The associates at the front of the store were directing customers to unoccupied check out lines and honestly, there was a lot less chaos then previous years.  I wonder if that was because the sale started so much earlier than prior years or what but I was grateful.  Even though there was not much going on to be alarmed with, there were cops everywhere inside the store and out.

We did see one man that looked like he may have been on his way to being arrested.  He had 3 PS3 bundle packs in his buggy heading out the door and only paid for one on his receipt.  How he thought he was about to pull that off was beyond me.  LMAO, what a dumbass.

Stop #2 -

Target:

There was a line to get inside the store but by the time we got there, it was in a steady flow.  We didn't have to stand outside in line for 2 hours like we did last year and were inside the store quickly.  We again walked the perimeter, taking items as we went.  I got a new toaster for $8 (a red one too!), a huge King size awesome blanket, throw type thing only for $20 (that will look great in my new bedroom that we're preparing for), a new pillow for $3 and a bunch of other stuff, DVD's and such.  We did have to stand in line to check out for maybe 30 minutes but it wasn't bad at all.

There was a cool lady behind us with her friend (who happened to go to school with Jade) that allowed us to put our stuff in her buggy so we didn't have to stand there holding it the whole time and that was really nice.

We made it in and out with hardly an issue and got more than what we came for.

**Supa and I will be shopping for a bedroom TV for our renovation so I decided if I came across a good deal, I should probably go ahead and get it.  There usually aren't any TV's left unless you go 4 hours ahead of time but this year, there were piles of TV's sitting around, waiting for the taking.  I called and told Supa the sizes, brands and prices and he said they were all shit so those TV's stayed right where they were.  I'm glad my husband does his electronic research and keeps up to date with the brands and reviews so I didn't end up investing in a shitty TV.**

Stop #3 -

Best Buy:  Just kidding.  We tried to go to Best Buy, and the line was to the back of the parking lot.  We realized that it was 10:30 and the store didn't open until midnight.  It was cold outside and we didn't HAVE to get much there.  We decided to mosey on over to K-mart first and then return to Best Buy when we were finished.

I called Supa while we were deciding what to do and told him I was getting hungry.  (We ate our big dinner at 2PM and my stomach was starting to growl.  He said, "Well, we don't have any damn food in this house so you'll have to get something."  WHAT!?  All that food we had leftover!  LMAO!!!  The girls and I decided to stop by Sonic (the only place that was open pretty much) and have a snack on the way to K-Mart so we would be prepared to deal with the Best Buy line upon our return.

K-Mart:

There was no line to enter the store and there weren't THAT many people inside.  The electronics department was kind of crowded but not too bad.  I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone with all this ease we were experiencing.  I was almost hoping for complete chaos and bloodshed so that Nearly could get the full take on what Black Friday is known for but nope, she had it easy.  Jade said we were "Popping her Black Friday cherry" but it really felt like we were EASING her into it instead of a hard core, traditional popping.  LOL.

K-Mart didn't have much to offer that I was interested in.  I think I spent $6.  Jade did find some toys that Bean wanted so it wasn't a complete waste of a trip.

Stop 4:

Best Buy finally:

There was a line from the front door, all the way back to the end of the parking lot.  We decided that it was worth it and picked a spot.  I think they were letting about 50 people in the store at a time so it was going to be quite a wait.

I did take my camera but I didn't have much time to use it.  I did capture this though:
Can you tell how far away from the door we really were?

We were COLD and our feet were beginning to hurt but we didn't complain much and we had fun telling old sex stories to each other for entertainment.  It's funny how many hilarious encounters we all came up with to pass the time.  I think we waited in line for about 45 minutes and when we finally got inside, the wait was totally worth it.

Since they were only letting a certain number of bodies in at one time, it was a pretty much stress free shopping trip.  No one shoved or attacked us.  We walked around with plenty of space and there were associates everywhere to assist us.  I wanted a specific game for Neon and Supa that was advertised as being half price and I got it.  Yipee!!  There was no wait to check out either and that just made our night.

Best Buy was a win, win and when we were finished, we knew it was time to take it to the house.  I had to work the next day and knew I was going to be paying for it in a few hours when I had to get up.  (Not that I truly gave a fuck because no one was going to rain on my Black Friday but we all felt like we got accomplished what we set out to do)

I got home around 2 AM.  I got to sleep around 3 AM and I got up at 7 AM OK, more like 7:20 after I hit the snooze 4 times.  I got to work and made it through the day only because my boss was nice and let me leave at 3:15ish.

When I got home, I was TIRED but I still had things to do.....

We'll pick up there tomorrow.....

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
