Breaking Dawn Part 2 Adventure Chapter 3

Here is the next installment folks!

Getting tattooed was such a rush that I had to take a moment to scream it out when we piled back into the van.  :)  I wish I could relive that experience over and over again (and maybe this is why people say that once you get tattooed it's highly addictive?)  This is my 4th tattoo so far and I have no plans on it being my last.  (Much to Supa's disgust - Honestly, he says that he hates tattoos but I think he secretly likes mine, not that he's EVER going to admit that to me)

Once we left the tattoo shop (sniff, sniff, I wanted to stay there ALL day) we decided to go on over to the mall and get our movie tickets (that had long since been paid for already).  After Jade scored our tickets, we parked and went inside the mall to fool around for a while before dinner time.

The mall in Charlotte is pretty big, definitely bigger than our mall at home.  It had two floors and lots of stores to explore.  

We even saw Santa in his Winter Wonderland! 



An Apple Store!!!  We don't have one of these at home! 

It took all of my efforts not to go inside and buy EVERYTHING.  I'm an Apple kind of girl ;)

I don't like real llamas.  They are cute but I'm afraid they will spit on me.  This fake one was right up my alley. 

The llama belonged to Anthropology...Some clothing store I've never been into before.

The mall was pretty empty and even though it was a Thursday, early afternoon, we still wondered where all the people were.....

We found all the people! 

This place looked like an indoor playground for little kids.  I wish my camera was better so you could count how many children were crammed in this one spot. It was crazy!   I can understand keeping the kids inside when it's cold outside but it was between 65 and 70 degrees!  Take your asses outside to enjoy the nice weather!  

Of course we had to visit Hot Topic and all the Breaking Dawn merch inside!

I know where some of Dazzle's Christmas presents are coming from!!

Lolly saw the candy store and we just had to go inside and check it out!

Oh, yum!  I'll take a bag and a scoop or two!

We all got candy to put in our purses and eat during our movie.  Heehee!

We decided since we didn't have lunch that we would go eat dinner early.  (AND because of the fact that we all got 3 free alcoholic beverages from the hotel between 5:30 and 7:00 PM so we needed to get back to the hotel in time for that.  These girls don't miss FREE.)

During breakfast, we looked at the dinner menus that I printed out and already knew where we were having dinner.  Amber Jack Seafood and Steakhouse won!  I was glad because it was my first pick and it sounded like a really nice place to eat. 

It took us about 30 minutes to drive to the restaurant and there was a good deal of traffic.  We listened to music and had some pretty interesting conversations. 

I am still reading 50 Shades Of Grey and my iPad tells me that I'm about 75% finished with book 1.  Lolly has finished book 1 but has yet to start book 2.  Jade started the series after I did and she has finished all 3 books already.  (Obsessed with book porn much, Jade?!  LOLOL!!!)  SO, of course, we had to have a little talk about that. 

I love how we talked about floggers and horse whips on the way to dinner.  It made for an interesting car ride and we all loved it when Lolly whipped out her iPhone and showed us pictures of the things we were imagining.  All I can say is, wow.  I'm ready to finish reading the series but once again, I am having a hard time (Haha, no pun intended, I promise.)  I WANT to read really badly but lately, I've been finding all sorts of other things to do.  (Like work and blog AND I'm trying to get ready for Christmas)  I will finish it, all in due time.  

This my bloggy friends, is a flogger.  Nice to know.  LOL


We finally arrived at dinner and we were all pretty hungry.

Jade hates seafood but she already knew she was getting a steak.  Win, win!

Once we got inside, the place was empty.  

It usually worries me when a restaurant is empty but then the girls reminded me it was only 4:45.  LOL.

There was a table of paramedics behind us and a table of old folks in front of us.  The only other people who eat at weird times like us.  :)  It was peaceful and nice to have the place almost to ourselves.

I'm not sure if you can see the tint of color in the ranch dressing but I asked the waitress why it looked a little green.  She said they put a little bit of food coloring in it so they can tell the difference between the ranch and the blue cheese.  She assured us it was all homemade but I still thought it was pretty weird.  Why can't they just write "ranch" or "blue cheese" on the containers?  I hated that it reminded me of something moldy.  I took the plunge and tasted it.  It was YUMMY!  LOL.

We all forgot to say "no peppers please".  LOL

I wondered for a second what the waitress thought about our pepper pile when she had to take it away.

My steak and baked potato.  YUM!  It was super delicious.

Looking at that dinner is making me hungry right now!!

All three of us got the same thing except Lolly got coleslaw instead of a potato.  I was going to get seafood but the promise of a juicy steak took over and I had to have one.  We ate until we couldn't eat anymore and the food was excellent!  I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that is visiting Charlotte.  We will go back again for sure. 

After we finished dinner, we headed back to the hotel for free drink time!  We did miss an exit so it took us a little longer to get to our destination but we finally made it.
