**SPOILER ALERT - If you haven't seen the movie yet, you might want to stop and read this post later, just sayin'.**
We made our way back to the hotel after dinner and ran upstairs to get our drink tickets. Once we got down to the lobby, we realized there were no cool people to socialize with. (Of course, we were the coolest ones in the room already) There was a group of disgusting, middle aged, creepy men standing near the elevator stalking everyone that came out of it. They were staring so hard at us that we thought their eyes might fall out of their heads. YUCK!
We got to the bar with our drink tickets and she ID's us. Oh, brother. Really?! We went back up to the room for our wallets. The middle aged stalkers were still there when we came down with our ID's. Lolly made a disgusted face at them as we walked by and finally got to our drinks.
You could choose from beer (eww!), wine (yick!) or hard liquor (cha-ching!). Lolly and Jade both got beer and I got a double shot of vodka. :) The vodka was WARM and had never seen a fridge in it's life. It also was cheap vodka which I don't really prefer. I was going to ask the bartender if she had Grey Goose or Ciroc but I didn't think insulting her booze would be well received. I took what she was serving. LOL. I also got a Pepsi from the soda machine so I could chase the
We sat a table looking at our email and Facebook while chatting away. The girls declared they couldn't fit anything else in their stomachs and that I should drink their remaining drinks. SURE, I would!! They both went and got me 2 more double shots that I quickly combined into one glass of warm vodka. LOL The Pepsi was a huge help. After I acquired all 7 shots, we went back up to our room to decide what we wanted to do next.

Pepsi, it's what made the warm, cheap vodka tolerable. |
We had discussed going to Target at some point since Jade forgot her toothbrush (Hey, I wasn't mad at her. I forgot my PJ's last year!). We also needed some special stuff to put on our new tattoos. It was pretty clear that I couldn't drive and I wasn't planning on trying (I hate people who drink and drive!) so Lolly offered to take us to Target.
We went ahead and changed our clothes, repowdered our noses and got ready to head to the theater after we finished at Target. While I was getting ready, I drank one of my Ciroc mini bottles and knew I didn't need anymore drinks after that. (LOL, it's such a fun thing to know your exact drinking limit and be responsible enough to stop when you need to.)
Lolly took Jade and

Don't mind the crappy photos. I'm surprised I was even able to take photos! |
We looked at many things at Target (I think...The trip is kinda foggy in parts...For instance, I can't remember for the life of me what Lolly bought, if anything). I know for sure that I didn't buy anything and Jade got us some tattoo stuff. I have a strict, "Don't use your debit card when you're drunk without supervision" rule that I had enough sense to stick to.

We all contemplated buying these adult sized onesies and wearing them to the movies so we could be really comfy :P |
Thankfully, I wasn't quite drunk enough to actually buy a onesie.
We traveled the short distance to the theater (in the mall parking lot across the way from the hotel) and went inside to see what kind of line we would be standing in. We got there at 8:30 PM, the movie started at 10PM. I was hoping that we got there early enough to be first in line. Lucky for us, there was NO line. LMAO! No way!! They let us walk right in and sit in the theater as soon as we got there. There were only about 10 people sitting in their seats when we arrived. We got our seats in the farthest back row, smack in the middle, exactly where we wanted to sit. YES! We sat and relaxed, watching people pile in the theater trying to find good seats and even played trivia to win movie posters with the theater employees. We did not win a poster but it wasn't for lack of trying. We went to the concession stand about 20 minutes before the movie started for popcorn and soda. My buzz was almost gone and much less obvious when the movie started. There also wasn't an empty seat in the house. Perfect!!
The movie itself was fucking epic. I can't say it was the best from the series because they were all great (IMHO). I can say that the ending was a complete shocker and I cried about 3 times.

Of course I cried my eyeballs out when they took us back to the meadow. |
After the movie, we went back to our room and did what girls do at night. Washed our faces and got in our PJ's. We fell asleep watching TV and checking our emails.
The next morning, we slept in as late as we could. Jade got up first to get ready. She woke us up and we went downstairs for our free breakfast buffet in our sweats and t-shirts. They actually had a good spread for us. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, and the list goes on and on. This was another reason that I liked this hotel. We ate until we were stuffed (I think I gained 10 pounds in 2 days, LOL) and went back up to the room to get ready and pack up our bags.
Once we were finished, we loaded the van and checked out. We decided to head straight over to IKEA to see what we could get into. Apparently, a lot.
I didn't really know what IKEA was until we got there. I thought it was a furniture store. Nope, it's an EVERYTHING store. If you've never been to one, check out their website here. I definitely didn't have any idea what we were in for but I'm so glad we went. I am now a member of the IKEA family and I can't wait to go back. Here are a few photos from our trip there:
The inside was kind of maze-like. There were lit up arrows shining on the floor to let you know which direction to walk in. One customer said they do that to confuse you so that you have to keep shopping (easy to do when you're lost inside a huge store full of awesome shit).

We thought at first that we didn't need a buggy....what a joke! We stole one at the first chance we got. |

This dresser would be perfect to set a new 40 inch flat screen TV on. It was only $250! |

I LOVE THIS ONE!! |

This light fixture was SOOO cool! It was only $90! The flowers were made from some kind of paper! |

A new bed is in order with our redecorating project. The headboard and foot board on this set was only $249! |
I went home with a membership card and a catalogue to show Supa. We will definitely be driving back to Charlotte to get IKEA items for our bedroom when the time comes!
**Side story: We were in IKEA for about 2+ hours. By the time we were almost finished, I sat down on a comfy couch to rest my feet while the girls were looking elsewhere and I decided to check my phone. I searched all my pockets, no phone. WTF?! We laid all over the mattresses in mattress land so I figured it rolled out of my hoodie pocket then. We ran (almost literally) to that section and started calling my phone. We didn't find it but someone did answer my phone! It was an IKEA associate and someone actually turned my phone into the lost and found! WAHOO! Thank God no one wanted a piece of shit Samsung with a cracked screen. After that little heart attack, we decided to go get my phone and head out. We.Were.Tired.As.Hell**
Once we got back into the van, we realized we were all getting hungry. We decided to go back to the area near the hotel and eat a late lunch at T.G.I.Friday's. I was too tired to even take photos of our food. Jade had a big nasty blue cheese burger and Lolly and I had BBQ sandwiches. The food was good, the service was OK and the bartender across the room from us was LOUD and very annoying. We were glad to be finished and on our way home.
Our trip was wonderful. It wasn't long enough but what trip ever is? I was glad to get home to the kids and Supa. I can't wait until we can go away, just us girls again. (I guess we'll have to find a new excuse since there won't be any more Twilight movies. Heehee)
