Fuck Me Friday!

I can already tell this one is going to be short.  I'm just now getting started less than 2 hours until I clock out.  (FUCK!  All I want to do is mouth vomit all over my blog and I don't even have time for it, again!)  One of our branches is having major computer issues today so they are calling us (wonderful) to ask us people's balances and other such imperative information.  That, on top of every single fucking member(s) calling to ask questions since we're closed on Monday...Is making me wish I could go drown myself in the toilet.  I swear, one ring after another will do that to a person.  Anyhow, blah, blah, blah, enough complaining, Apple.  Get on with the vomit!
I'm picturing sunshine and rainbows right now just to get through the rest of the day.

Let's start with an Odie update:  (I like to get right to the depressing stuff and get it over with)

Supa said that the vet weighed him and all that jazz (5lbs. - hahah, my little bag of sugar) and took a look at his mouth.  The end result - His teeth are so gross that his gums are infected and said infection has made it's way into his sinus cavity and is making him all snotty and congested.  Wait, WHAT?!  The vet said there was no way we could have known how bad it was because unlike humans, he's not in any pain from his infected mouth.  Thank God  SO, they gave him a shot in the ass (an antibiotic booster that lasts 14 days) and some antibiotic pills to take at home every 12 hours.  He needs to get his mouth fixed ASAP so that he doesn't continue to get sick.  Okay, I'm good with that.

Yesterday's visit:  $75.89 - Huh, not too bad (but still set me back a bit since I wasn't expecting it)

A full mouth cleaning:  At least $150 but could be up to $350 - Oh, fuck me!

This means that I have to be prepared to pay $350 and if it costs less, hooray for us.  I'm not complaining because I love my damn dog and I'm going to take care of him (that's what having animals means) but Jesus Odie, you're killing me!

Supa and I are going to figure out when in the next couple of weeks we can take him (he'll have to be dropped off and stay for the day) and we're going to make it happen as soon as we possibly can.  All I have to say is Merry Christmas to you Odie!
Looks like Odie's stocking is going to be full of this shit!  For sure!

I feel terrible that his mouth is so messed up.  I'm his MOM for goodness sakes!  Supa reassured me that he was going to be fine and to stop beating myself up, like the vet said, we couldn't have known.  I had to talk myself down from sticking my head in the toilet once again.  I'll let everyone know when he gets his mouth fixed and how that turns out.

Dazzle is taking home-ec this semester in school and she was super excited about the pillow she made.  (Especially since her Mom can barely sew on a button)

She was really proud when I asked her if I could take a picture of it for my blog :)

I think she might need to work for L.E.I when she is older : )
There is no way I could make a pillow as good as this one.  You go, Dazzle!!  :)

Uncle Darling sent me a picture of some holiday nails that I really, really want to attempt but I'm scared....

<GASP!>  Candy cane nails??  YES, please!!
I'm scared that if I try to do this to my nails, I'll end up with an epic nail fail.  Here are some examples of what I cannot let happen to me:

Um, no ma'am!

No, they did not!
Where is the nail polish remover when you need it?!

Apple shall never end up on in one of these fail photos.
I want these candy cane nails pretty badly though...So, I might try them...and see how it goes but if it's not a good representation, I have enough sense to ERASE my fuck up.  Promise!

My poor Dazzle woke up feeling shitty today.  She never pretends to be sick so she can stay home from school so when she told me she couldn't go to school, I immediately believed her.  She said her head hurt and she had a bad tummy ache paired with some nasty diarrhea.  I offered to stay home with her and she said she would be fine on her own.  If she had to throw up, she would make sure she made it to the toilet and if not, she could clean up her own puke.  "I'm almost 13 MOM!  Go to work!"  Alrighty then!

She laid down, ate some toast, took some Excedrin Migraine and now she feels much better.  I'm not sure what happened but I'm glad she doesn't have some awful virus.  (We need to have a fun weekend!)  I'm finally well again and I'm so glad because being sick SUCKS when you have other people depending on you!

Out of time but back in action,

Apple

PS, I hope you have a great weekend!!!  We're closed on Monday for Veteran's day (WOOT WOOT!) so I'll be back on Tuesday!
