Short But Hopefully Sweet

I wasn't going to blog today because if I don't finish this book/series I'm reading, I'm going to lose it but I figured I would update everyone very quickly and then get to my book.

I have two pictures from friends in far away places that I wanted to share:
This came from Aunt Darling

The above is a scene from Tennessee.  Aunt Darling and Nana Darling took Grampa Darling damn, that's a bunch of Darling's  to the mountains in Tennessee this week (they're driving back as we speak) and this was one of the photos she sent me.  Beautiful!  I know they had a great time and I'm glad they got to take Grampa on another adventure.

Red is on a mini vacation from work.  She left yesterday with her friend to visit the Mall of America in Minnesota (I think that's where it is).  They got on a plane in SC and flew to Chicago O'Hare airport (a place I've been a time or two) where she said they had a 2 hour layover before the next flight left.  I told her, "Do not leave the airport.  It is huge and you will need all the time you can get to make it to the next gate."  She sounded like she was going to venture out into Chicago before she caught her connecting flight so again I said, "Don't do it, Red!  You will miss your flight."

What happened?  She didn't listen and they missed their flight.  Duh.  LOL  So, they had plenty of time to explore Chicago before 10 PM when the next flight left.  Wow.
She was fascinated and I was glad she got to see something awesome (SC has nothing like this).

It seems that everyone is on vacation except for Supa and I.  Boo, hiss!

Nearly Perfect send over a winning funny this morning.  (She's at her desk and not on vacation either....heehee.)

I call this one, CHEESE EATER.  Please note the Cheez-It's on the back of the wheelchair.
Did you not have a knife?  Could you go for slices or did you already do that and just said, "Fuck it.  This is a waste of time.  Hand over the entire block."  Wow.  Just wow.

This photo brought up a big cheese conversation over work email between several of us.  I mean, I LOVE cheese.  Like, I FUCKING love cheese and can never get enough but at some point, you have to draw the line!  This lady will never shit again.  Never.  When you're carrying around 62 lbs. of extra, cheesy shit in your intestines...Well, you see where I'm going with this?

I am passionate about cheese but hello, resist the block!  Set the block down and back away slowwwwly!
Is it just me or has anyone ever seen a furry penguin before?  I sure haven't!
I need to find out if these guys are photo shopped or what because I don't want to be forever looking for a furry penguin that doesn't exist!

I doubt you can read the little writing because I sure couldn't.  It says:

Top:  My son is five and drew his favorite animal in art glass.  It's supposed to be a giraffe.
Ellen says:  I can honestly say, I've never seen anything like that before.

That is the best giraffe I've ever seen!  LMAO!!  I laughed on this one until I cried.

An old lady playing beer pong?  SWEET!
I love the lady in the background watching her with the grin on her face.  LOL

OMG, when Supa and I are old, I need to get t-shirts like these made for us!!
We already lose each other in Walmart sometimes.  LOL, thank God for cell phone!  Walmart is big!  LMAO!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I will report back on Monday, hopefully.

Out,

Apple
