Tattoo Update

After much thought and consideration (and after getting the opinions of may people that I love and trust), I have cancelled my tattoo appointment that I had scheduled for this Saturday.  I need to feel that I want this tattoo (and where I want it) 100% because duh it will be for forever.  I take forever very seriously.  I can't make a forever mistake and end up regretting my decision.  I don't want to have to live with that for the rest of my life. 

For the time being, I am going to continue to look at tattoo designs, take my time making a decision as big as this one, and possibly get a different tattoo in the meantime.  (I really want music notes behind my ear and a butterfly on the back of my neck....Since I'm already pretty firmly certain about that....I might work on those next...We'll see and as usual, I will keep everyone posted.

I painted my nails today.  Dazzle picked out this color last weekend and she did a good job!

The antibiotics that I'm taking seem to be working.  My nose is not as runny as it was yesterday and my throat doesn't hurt so that's a good thing but for some reason, I still feel like this today:

This is pretty much my attitude as of right now.  I'm so ready to go home!!!

I hope that by this weekend, I will be feeling back to 100%.  <crossed fingers>

I talked to Grampa Darling last night after dinner and he sounded even better than he did on Saturday.  He said he slept like a log in his own bed (YES!) and was feeling much better.  He was still coughing up a storm but that is to be expected.  Aunt Darling informed me that she will be leaving to go on a short trip with our cousin, Sivart, from Thursday to Sunday and asked me if I could call Grampa each day to check on him.  DUH!  My favorite thing to do!  That will be the easiest favor I'll ever fill I'm sure.  Uncle Darling is taking him bowling on Saturday and boy, I wish I could go too.  :(  Just another time that living so far away SUCKS for me. 

That's all for today, folks.  I just wanted to squeeze a quick post in today and update everyone before I settled into my desk chair to watch as many episodes of Amazing Race as I can.  My DVR is on overload and I'm getting nowhere fast.  It's time to take matters into my own hands and watch a little TV at work (I haven't done that in a while).  I know I should be reading or working  but....duty calls!
