When Jade and I got back from the tattoo shop, Supa carved one of the pumpkins with the kids. Neon drew the design and it turned out pretty spooky!

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this one since I was left feeling disappointed when we saw other movies based on Nicholas Sparks books. I also wasn't sure how I would feel about Zac Efron playing the lead roll. Until I saw this movie, I couldn't stop picturing the Zac from High School Musical (not that I ever watched it).

Jade and I watched the movie and we loved it. I was almost exactly the same as the book, probably as close as any Nicholas Sparks book based movie I've seen yet (and I think I've seen them all) and we were pleasantly surprised that little Zac is ALL grown up and 25 years old now. (Thank you Jesus)

Bottom line: Great movie, hot actor. Win! I'm glad I bought this one!
Supa didn't return home until long after the kids went to bed and I finished watching many Dr. Phil episodes. He had to go work early on Sunday so he went to bed right as he got home but I stayed up until I couldn't stay awake anymore. I have to watch TV at some point! I also painted my nails. I think it was about 1 AM and they still turned out great!

The base color is a new one that I just got this past weekend. Then I used a needle (the flat round back of the needle) to put the dots on. I love them and I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of dots in the future. It was too easy. (In fact, I'm going to redo my nails in a few minutes here...No dots this time though. I have a new gold color I want to try)
Sunday morning after breakfast, we ran out to see if the movie guy was at the flea market. NOPE. Fuck man!!! We went to Bilo (so I could get fuel perks) and got Dark Shadows for the kids (yeah, and for me too, LOL). Remember when Jade and I took the Cat and Dazzle to see it in theaters.... Well, they loved it and so did we. We wanted to make sure that Neon and Supa got to see it too.
Of course, Walmart sucks big balls. We went there to get it after we ran by the flea market and they didn't have it. But they did have this:

They had an Edward poster and a Jacob poster. I only got this one because I'm waiting on the family pose for the other side of my wall. More to come on that....

Neon said his pumpkin's eyes were messed up because it's on crack. WOW. Only my kid would say that. LOLOLOLOL!!! I laughed my ass off.
It was a good afternoon full of bed sheet changes, laundry, nap time (for Mom) and TV time. I enjoyed it a great deal.
That's all for today folks. I will be out of the office tomorrow. Supa and I both took the day off. Neon has a spinal specialist doctor appointment in the morning that we are all going to and we are letting the kids play hookie for the day so we can go to the:

I remember in years past when we couldn't afford to even get into the fair. I'm very excited to go this year and spend the whole day having fun with my little family.
