Happy Halloween!

I checked to see what kind of Halloween post I came up with last year and found myself disappointed.  I didn't do one.  I posted this and didn't even say Happy Halloween once!  Well!  I would like to think that I'm a much better blogger this year than I was last year (fuck I hope so since I definitely have more practice under my belt).

Since you were cheated last year, I'm going to do you right this year.  :)

I have compiled all the best/worst/most popular costumes that I've seen on the Internet this year (of course, for your personal enjoyment).

LOL, let the awesomeness begin:
Bucket head zombie

Snookie's baby
Okay, that one cracked me up.

The Mario family.

Awww!  How cute!!

OctoMom

Yuck!  How not cute!

Magic Mike
This could go either way.  You could have a rockin' hot body like this dude and totally pull it off or you could have a disgusting body and pull it off for jokes....

An actual Magic Mike costume......I can't believe this is real.

Gangnam Style
Dancing with the Stars even got into the Halloween costume spirit with Gangnam Style outfits.  Oh, lawd.

The Price Is Right contestants!

Cute idea for a baby!!
That's all, ghouls and goblins!  There were so many good ones, I never could have posted them all.

I have to get my work done so I can take my little Morticia and my phantom trick or treating.  :)

Happy Halloween!!

Make Me Laugh, Tuesday!

Honestly, I don't have anything too exciting to talk about today.  Hopefully it's going to be one of those lazy days at work where I don't have to do much.  Yesterday was terrible so I'm ready for a break.

I finally finished the book series I was reading (omg, been working on that since May!).  I started reading 50 Shades of Grey on Saturday while I was getting my hair cut.  I think I'm on Chapter 3.  No one has fucked anyone yet so I'm still waiting for that.  I'm only reading it because the entire rest of the world has already read it and I feel like I'm missing out.  We'll see what I think about it.  I have all 3 of the books on my iPad and that's what I'm planning on working on in my spare time today.

I would like to leave you today with a few funnies I have been gathering.  I recently discovered a new website (check it out here) that tickles my funny bone so much!!!

Enjoy!

Oh, really?  LOL, someone please tell him.
I love Stevie Wonder in all his blind, blackness but this made me LOL so much!!!

OMG, WTF?!
Imagine waking up to that 2 inches from your face!  No, thank you!!
Wow, I want to do this to someone so bad.

Maybe I should just test ONE to make sure it doesn't hurt anything first.  LOL

This one was called "The most shocking thing about the entire Die Hard movie".

I would cry if gas was under $1 now.  I remember when I could fill up my little car for $12.  Never.Ever.Again.

Hang on...WHAT did it say???!!!!
It's a typo, right?  I mean, it has to be.  No one ate that sweet baby, right?  OMG. WTF.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  Guilty kitty!
This cat should be called "For shame cat".  You let a mouse eat your food and you didn't eat it in return?  Oh, no!!  Being a cat:  You're doing it wrong!

ME!  SO ME!

I have one hell of a time making it through an entire movie without falling asleep.  It must be old age......

Haha!  For reals?  Awesome!!
I forgot that ice cream had feelings....

You need to get a grip on your whorish behavior!
But if it were a bitch standing there, no one would object.  No pun intended.  LMAO!

I can't believe I didn't notice that before!
I'm going to pay much closer attention the next time I watch Spongebob.  Ha!

Again, so me!!
I have completely different problems but the same thing happens when I plug in my shuffle. (Which is probably why I'm usually seen with it on more than not.)

Because there is some weird, white people zombie shit going on here.
OMFG, epic face you have there, sir!
Speaking of zombies, I've been wanting to show that I want these.  Christmas is coming:

COOL!

These too!

"I want to be a real boy" tacks.
I have always loved Pinocchio!

Okay, I'm going to leave it on that note.  Hopefully I can get some reading done and get something bloggy accomplished tomorrow.  We'll see.

Happy Tuesday, friends,

Scary Weekend! (And I Loved It)

Work is really hectic today since it's the 29th and no one is quite sure when they will be getting paid.  WTF, really?  If you get paid on the first, the shit will post on Wednesday the 31st!  Please don't call on Friday, Monday and Tuesday to ask me how much your check is!  HOLY FUCK!  This happens every month that is short or long.  I know now that people have no idea how completely ignorant they really are or sound.  SO, I'm trying to make the most of this shitty day.  I'm listening to the Maroon 5 station on Pandora and trying to write my weekend blog post.  Hopefully I can finish it today.
Or kill them all since no matter what, I have to answer the phone when it rings.  I'm on ring # 68 so far and it's only 11:00AM.  FML.

I found time at work on Friday to paint my nails:
Our new color, Cherri Berry.
Friday night I watched a bunch of TV.  I watched a couple of episodes of Survivor I was behind on and a few Dr. Phil's.  I was in total relaxation mode and only got up to pee or get more ice water.  Good times!

Saturday morning Dazzle, Neon and I ventured out to run our errands.  Dazzle and I got our hair cut while Neon hung out waiting for us to finish.  Then we went to Sally's (you know I needed more nail polish Like I need a hole in my head), Pet's Inc (we needed dog food but we also ended up playing with the babies), and Walmart.

He was being held by Dazzle.  Puppies are like crack to her!  LOL
Neon is obsessed with German Shepard's.  That is his favorite dog breed.  He reminds me often that when he grows up, he is going to have 5 of them.  So when we saw this sweet lady, he went crazy.

That's Neon kneeling there INSIDE the cage with Angel.  The sign on the cage said she loves belly rubs so Neon climbed on in to check and see if the sign was correct.  LOL
I told Neon that if we didn't have 2 dogs to take care of already, we would have taken her home in a second.  She was so sweet.   I assured him that she wouldn't be sitting there long.

I received a coupon in the mail for 50% off of one decoration or prop at Halloween Express so I figured we better go use it!  I personally can never have enough Halloween decorations!
I told the kids that we needed to name our new friend so they decided to combine their two suggestions which came out to be "Billy Bob Joe Jr."  LOL, whatever makes them happy.
After we finished our errands we decided be naughty and eat Taco Bell for lunch.  We have been on a Subway kick for a long time and needed to change it up a bit.  Since we hadn't been there in so long, it was really tasty!
It's Odie's cousin/uncle/aunt!!  Odie is WAY cuter than this guy.

We went home afterwards and I finished cutting the grass.  I cut the back yard Friday after work and then I attempted to cut the front yard but it got dark on me so I had to finish on Saturday.  After I washed all the dirt off of myself, Dazzle and I painted our fingernails.
I'm still loving the dots but wish I could find something else quick so I don't get bored.
Supa came home early because the store was dead due to the football game.  We hung out and talked for a while.  We were all glad he was home early since that doesn't happen very often.  Dazzle and I ran to Jade's house to pick up Cat Mama who was having a sleep over with the kids.  I think they were planning to watch some zombie movie to get in the Halloween spirit.  LOL.

Supa made homemade broccoli and cheese soup with garlic bread for dinner (yum, my favorite!) while I took a shower and got ready to go on our date.

When we were ready and the mess from dinner was cleaned up, we left and headed over to the Deceased Farm.

There were two sections of the farm that could be done and of course, we had to do both.  The first part was called The Main Haunt.  I wasn't allowed to take any photos of it but it started in one building that eventually lead you out to the corn field (marked trails of scary shit and live people) and then back into a second building then back into the corn field.  Great day, it was really scary as shit.  There were TONS of live people that jumped out, crawled along, brushed by you and just stood there looking creepy as hell.  All the props and scenes were very realistic looking and just basically put together really well.  I screamed quite a few times and got pretty damn freaked out.  Supa laughed the entire time.  I made him lead the way and held onto him as much as I could.  I think this was one of the best haunted houses I had ever been to.

The second part was called the Deceased Farm in 3D.  We weren't sure what to expect from that.  We talked to the ghoul at the door and he explained that the inside of the building was airbrushed by a local artist with 3D paint all in freehand.  He handed us our 3D glasses and slammed the door behind us.
This was the outside of the entrance.  COOL!
The inside was covered in bright 3D paintings (black lights everywhere of course) of gross ghouls and scenes.  We got through the first half just in awe of how cool it was when we were then greeted by a live person who scared us well, not Supa, just me the rest of the way through, kind of guiding us at the same time.  It was cool as hell.  I don't know why anyone wouldn't do both parts.  It was totally different, yet, equally as awesome as the other part.
The half of our tickets that they let us keep.

On closer inspection, the corn has skulls in it!  COOL!

Once again, another excellent idea for date night with the hubs.  It was $40 for both of us, for both parts.  It was worth every penny.  This is the same farm where we went to the corn maze and I would recommend going there for Halloween fun.  If you live in the south, google it.  Clinton Sease Farm.  I'm going to send them a bill for advertisement on my blog, lol.

When we were finished, we went and picked up Jade at her house (so she could get drunk and Supa could drive her home).  We ran to Bilo for supplies and then Supa took us to Sonic to get ice cream.  (Oh, how I love having a two part date with my bestie included in the second half!)

After we had our soft serve, we went back to the house and sent the kids to Dazzle's room to resume their sleep over.  (They ended up watching Zombieland).

Jade and I played Rummy in the kitchen while Supa watched the football game he recorded in the next room.
R.J.A.T.W left this at our house a couple of weekends ago so figured that was a clear sign that I was welcome to drink the rest of it.

For anyone who doesn't know, this is Ciroc vodka  This is P. Diddy's vodka and it's expensive as hell.  I guess it should be, it tasted like liquid candy.  That shit could get you into trouble quick!  LOL! Jade and I enjoyed the 4 shots that were left.  Thank you, R.J.A.T.W!
I set our drinking area up right!  :)

We had fun, playing cards, getting a little drunk and talking our heads off until around 2 AM (the kids had long since passed out on their pallet).  Supa drove Jade home and I went straight to bed.  Mama was tired.

Sunday Supa was off!  Hooray!!

We slept in like the dead.  Dazzle came and woke us up around 10AM when they woke up!  WOW!  We were out!

After eating breakfast,  we got all the kids and ourselves ready and went for an hour+ walk around the neighborhood.  We even took Copper and he had a great time.  The weather was beautiful and sunny.  Everyone got their exercise in for the day.  Sweet!  When we got back home, we ate lunch and cleaned up a little bit.  We had some laundry to do.

While Supa and Neon played video games together, the girls sat at the table, painting fingernails and looking at photo albums.  I was in the kitchen with them baking and getting food ready for Monday night's dinner.
Chocolate chip cheesecake bites.  They turned out so yummy!!  Thank you, Pinterest.

I made meatloaf for Monday night's dinner so that I could just throw it in the oven.  It's going to be good!
When I was finished in the kitchen and everything was clean again, we all laid down in the living room together to watch The Avengers.  I watched some, played on my iPad some and napped some :)  Supa and the 3 kids said the movie was epic.  I'll take their word for it.
I got up to take a shower and get ready to go to dinner.  We took Cat home and went to the dumpster to look for coupons:

This is just what I kept for myself.  I shared with 6 other ladies!
Let's just say it was a great coupon haul day.  Thank you for helping me, Supa!

We originally planned to go try a restaurant that we had never been to before:

An Italian place called Kovachi's that boasted about their wonderful NY style pizza.
I do believe it was this that originally attracted us.

We had trouble finding the place (even though it was only 15 minutes from the house and I had a GPS in my purse) and then we realized it closed in less than an hour.  WTF.  I guess we'll try to eat there another day.

We ended up eating a late dinner at Fatz.

Fatz Cafe
I had been to Fatz many years ago with a co-worker and wasn't impressed but this one by our house was really good!  We totally enjoyed ourselves.

Supa helped me separate coupons after dinner while watching Grey's Anatomy and then I ran to Jade's to take her some of them.  After a Dr. Phil episode and Oprah's Next Chapter (an Usher rerun I missed somehow) it was off to sleepy time land!

On call #96 now,

Apple

PS, I almost forgot, Dazzle was playing around on one of the apps on her iPad and she made this photo of Copper:
Happy Halloween!!

Breaking Dawn Part 2

There are only 20 more days left until the girls and I get to go on our mini vacation to see Breaking Dawn Part 2.  I realized a few days ago that I haven't done a "Breaking Dawn OMG" post yet so now is that time!!

Remember when we went to see Breaking Dawn Part 1 in Charleston?  (I think I posted that one in 4 posts because it was so long but that's where it begins)  We had the best time ever.  I'm not really sure how we're going to top that but I do remember that we decided last time that if we were going to see Part 1 in Charleston, we would go to Charlotte, NC for part 2.  We stuck to our decision and Lolly booked our hotel room yesterday!  WAHOO!
We're staying at the Drury Inn and Suites.

Looks like a nice place to us!

We also liked the fact that the mall, including the movie theater, is across the street!  Easy access, baby!
We will definitely be utilizing the indoor pool and hot tub.
One of the reasons Lolly chose this hotel was because they have free buffet breakfast, free drinks and snacks (during certain hours) and other food freebies.  That's right up our alley!

Lolly is coming to spend the night at our house that Wednesday night after work - pregame!  (We just realized the other day that the credit union we work for is closed that Monday so we only have to work 2 days that week - SUPER HOORAY!)
That would be Veterans Day!  Wahoo!

We'll leave the house around 7:50, take Dazzle to school (Neon will already be at school by that time) and go pick up Jade from her house.  Then we'll be on our way to have our mini vacation breakfast at Shoney's.  :)  We even have coupons!  Golly that makes us sound super old but you know I'm the coupon queen!

We don't have super concrete plans for what we're doing once we get to Charlotte.  I know that we all want to go to Ikea while we're near one.
It's a really cool furniture store and I'm going to look for a new coffee table.

I'm sure we'll mosey on over to the mall as soon as we get into town to check out the theater and get our tickets.  We decided not to buy them on the Internet this year and instead just go get them in person early that day.  I also heard that the movie is going to be playing at 10 PM instead of 12 PM.  SWEET!  I was just telling Lolly the other day that it would be really cool if we could go to the movie earlier so we wouldn't be so exhausted and we could still have time to get into trouble afterwards.  Who wants to go to bed right after a great movie?!  SO, we got what we wished for.  HOORAH!  (I'm bringing the Grey Goose for sure)

We're basically going to do what we want, when we want and that sounds perfect to me.  All I can think about at this point is....Edward..... :)
It's for sure going to be epic as fuck.

I can't wait to see Bella as a vampire in action!!

We get to meet Renessme officially!!
I'm so excited about my trip with my two best friends and seeing this movie that is sure to rock our world.  WOOT WOOT!  I will take tons of photos and give a full report when we return!  I can't wait!

Counting down the days,

Apple

What To Do.....??

I've recently been thinking about going back to school.  (For those of you that laughed, I'm not that fucking old.)

This thought all started when I went and watched Supa's colonoscopy being performed.  The doctor and nurses were all impressed that I could watch and not be grossed out.  They all wanted to know what I did for a living (oh so boring and meaningless).  They all wanted to convince me that it was never too late to go back to school.  I have plenty of time to do what I really want to do with my life and to be exactly what I want to be.
Honestly, I'm never easily convinced but this conversation with all these medical professionals really got me to thinking....

Then I saw the whole Kony 2012 thing and that made me think even harder.  What am I planning to do with the rest of my life?  Work in a call center for a credit union forever?  I understand that it's a job and someone has to do it but I really feel like I was meant to do something more important.  I already know that my main goal in this life is to be a great mother (and wife) and I'm doing that.  I'll always be Dazzle and Neon's mother but let's face it.  One of them is 10 and the other is almost 13.  They're already both half way to 20!  Pretty soon, I will be moving onto the next phase of my life where I will have lots of time for myself.  I want to make a real difference.
Don't get me wrong, I have several years left but I'm inching my way towards that middle figure.  I need to make some big decisions on what I'm doing before I start heading towards that last number.
I talked to Supa about the idea of going back to school and at first he was completely supportive.  He urged me to do whatever I needed to do to make myself complete and secure the kind of future career I wanted to have.

After talking about it for a few days....He then reminded me of when I decided I was going to go back to school years and years ago when Neon was a baby.  I took one Math class at the technical college down the street (while working full time and taking care of a newborn and a 3 year old).  As you can probably guess, that didn't work out very well.  I did get a 98-A in the class and exempted my final exam but I was tired as hell.  I almost forgot what the kids looked like and it wasn't a good idea financially at that time.  Basically, it was too much at once.

This is not a place I want to be anytime soon.
NOW, things are very different.  Supa is the money maker in our current situation and we can afford to pay for the classes.  My kids aren't all grown up yet but they are very helpful and responsible.  I have plenty of downtime at work to get homework and studying done (most days).

Supa and I also talked about what I wanted to do exactly....

Well, let's see....

I am completely obsessed with the thought of finding a dead body in the woods so I can poke at it with a stick.  Coroner maybe?  Cutting open a dead body to see what's inside sounds fun to me!  Supa gently reminded me that although he's certain I would have no problem playing inside adult dead bodies, he knew I would choke if I had to see a dead infant or decapitated two year old.  He was right.  Also, we read on the internet that each county has a coroner and they have to be voted in.  That sounds really difficult to find a job.....

I think coroner is out :(
I'm not afraid of dead bodies, guts or gore.  In fact, I'm totally fascinated!

I guess I'm really interested in something in the medical field.  If I could cut up a dead body, I'm sure I could give someone an I.V.  Now we just need to narrow that down.  That's a big field, the medical one.  LOL

Supa said maybe I could become a pharmacist.  They make about $120,000 per year.  Wow.  Only bad part is, I hate chemistry and that would be a big part of the classes I would need to take.
HAHA!  Yeah, right.  I memorized this in high school because I had too and long since forgotten each one except maybe water.

I'm smart and I know I could apply myself and learn the things I need to learn but do I really want to?  I would have to go to school for about 6-10 years.  Wow.  How old am I?  I'm not old yet but by then I might feel like I am.

OH SO MANY QUESTIONS, OPTIONS AND THINGS TO THINK ABOUT.

I decided that I need to keep thinking about it and definitely talk to my life advisor, Aunt Darling.  She gives excellent advice and makes me think about things I would have never thought of on my own.  I'm going to wait until I see her in person so we can pick each other's brains for an extended period of time.  I like in person better than over the phone.  That will probably not be until our next trip home (around the first week of April).

Be patient my bloggy readers.  I will update you on what is decided...It might be awhile before you hear about this again but if you know me, you know that once I get something in my head, it's extremely hard for me to get it out.

Happy Thursday everyone,

PS, what I would really love to do is sell my blog, write it for a living for some newspaper or magazine and QUIT my current job.  :)  I wish I had more interesting things to talk about so that could be possible.  I always wanted to be an author when I grew up.  I do have a huge love for writing and still feel like I want to write a book....Hmmmm....
